I'M A FAN of KTVU's talented Cristina Rendon. Since her early days in the Bay Area, I love her tenacity, her great anchor work and her work as a reporter in the field.

More than that, the reason I love Rendon is that she doesn't draw attention to herself. Obviously, she is a pleasure to watch. I don't think I'm being rude to state the obvious: Rendon is pretty. She is quite stunning and smart as hell. It's refreshing to say that and not be subject to the wrath of women. Men too.
Rendon is so good and talented KTVU has a big decision to make; she would be a tremendous addition to the 10 o'clock News. Especially in the coming months when it's all but certain Julie Haener takes a buyout offer from Fox or retires. That's speculation now but it won't be come arch of 2021.
Either way, here's my vote for Rendon to get on the anchor desk. She deserves it.

ReplyDeleteMore Rendon. Way more Rendon. The only thing good about the 10 O'Clock News on Fridays and Saturdays. Get rid of Heather "Collagen Lips" Holmes. Put Rendon in the seat. The time has come. She's earned it.

I loved working with Maggi during KNTV's pre-NBC days ("The San Jose Newschanne! LOL) She was beloved by everyone in the newsroom, because Mag was nice to everyone. Whether it was co-anchor Doug Moore, the reports, the photogs, the editors, even the interns: She was a genuinely nice person who was nice to everyone.
