415 Media Flash! Across The Board Layoffs at NBC Sports Bay Area; 'No One is Safe'; Even High Profile Anchors Not Immune

ACROSS THE BOARD LAYOFFS...

*Across all platforms including coverage of 49ers' football, Giants' MLB, Warriors NBA --now and into 2021

*Bay Area NBC Sports source to 415 Media: "No one is safe, even the high profile anchors and they'll be the first to go."

*Layoffs set to commence next Monday and they will be shocking. NBC has been cutting back with a series of cuts across the board nationwide, the Bay Area included.

*Revenue at the local sports cabler DOWN a Sports Bay Area, and as bad as it will get now, wait until the beginning of 2021. 

*Common response at SF NBC BA studio building: "Yikes."

    1. Yes, that would be great and bring back Jim Barnett as color commentator, get rid of Azubuike he is horrible, I have the sound down when I watched the games last season.
