Screaming Lunatic Chris Merrill Still Shouting on KGO

I can't stand Chris Merrill --I said it then and now.

Merrill has been doing fill-in work on KGO and he seems to have found favor among the current brass --but he's LOUD in my book.

Loud and insincere and phony.

Merrill is of the talk-show pedigree that demands you YELL and scream. Artificial noise? Check. Obnoxious and fake? Check. Create a sense of outrage for the sense of shock? Check. All of the above.

Merrill is incapable of simply speaking a sentence without SHOUTING it up a notch. It's as if he has to scream and yell to rev up attention for his sake. He has nothing to say coherently so maybe he's genuinely mentally challenged. I don't know for sure and quite frankly, I really don't care.

This sort of style nauseates me because it's a fool trying to drum up controversy when there's no such matter happening. Merrill might as well be a carnival barker on Broadway at the strip clubs.

He'd be more valuable there than on KGO doing talk radio.
