*Who used company e-mail and communication to advance a non-Disney/ABC project?

  1. Translation: Karma about to bite KGO-TV staff involved on this mess. Don't mess with Rich!

  2. Good. They brought this on themselves.

  3. The 29 must have missed my post about a year ago, about the 'Fine Line.' On their behalf, here it is again.

There is a very fine line between exercising your personal and political beliefs and shooting yourself in the foot. The 29 have shot themselves in the foot.

Your work history written and unwritten will follow you your entire career. You can't hide it, nor can you hide from it.

I can hear the conversation..."She certainly is qualified for the job, but I have one concern. She is one of 'The 29.' Could she become more of a liability than an asset, somewhere down the line?"

To the women who didn't sign...smart move! There are forward thinking women and women who don't think at all.

    The Women Are The News.

  4. yeah, right. like Disney cares about 29 signatures on a petition condemning a misogynistic blogger. Especially in the me too era. If anything they're going to discuss options to muzzle Rich. I love this blog and read it every day, but I don't have my head in the sand either.

  5. They'll just get a slap on the wrist.
This is old news now. No one is even thinking about this petition.

  6. Solution: If you happen to see any of these 29 signatories in a coffee shop, deli or bar, simply do not offer to buy her a tuna sandwich. Problem resolved, you get the last laugh.

  7. What about the restraint of trade, ABC going after a smaller media company's advertisers?

  8. I know that the Trixie pal at ABC-Disney HQ didn't approve of this investigation, and I'm convinced that Rich is only part of the issue. This has to do with basic ethics and its protocols. Sorry that RL will be facing further national scrutiny, even though he didn't initiate the signatures.

  9. Something tells me Sze isn't going to sleep very well for a while. This should teach her a lesson.

  10. KGO and the mouse company doesn't care about Kristen, Kristen is from Taiwan and the mouse values China for the big movie bucks and future $$$. Kristen was off the air on Thursday and Friday replaced by Ama who need to come back to the station adding on Dion on Friday.

  11. This "Full Investigation" is only about limiting the liability of Disney/ABC....nothing else. It has nothing to do with who wronged who...or who used company postage stamps.
It's an investigation to cover the mouse ass.

  12. Rich, Disney/ABC is making your case for you. Any lawyer would be concerned about the liability the mouse network has in this case. It's not just defamation by Disney/ABC employees, using Disney/ABC email, but it's the attempt to shut off your advertising through Google. They're collecting the evidence in anticipation of a lawsuit. They want to know how bad it will get if you decide to sue. How much they'll have to pay you. I'm not saying you have a case (I wouldn't know) but if this report is true, they think you have a case, and that's what matters. If you haven't done so already, you ought to call Angela Alioto, who knows a thing or two about suing Disney, Cumulus and other disreputable media companies.
