One of the best Summer and August songs ever! Read Roger Daltrey's memoirs (titled Thanks a Lot, Mr. Kibblewhite, for the teacher who thought Daltrey had no chance to succeed in music or any other entertainment). Eddie Cochran definitely influenced him.
