YEAH, so we have a real weather story --finally. And it deserves more attention as opposed to the obligatory "every ten minutes" approach. But I'm not surprised given the lack of creativity potion the news people here posses.We're being besieged by weird, unusual weather; prolonged heat, humidity, lightning, thunder, et all--and for over a week. It is bizarre. It is unusual, now at least. Would it kill someone to pitch the ND to do three-minute Q and A with a weather scientist? Hey, Bill Martin, KTVU? Stop mumbling and TALK TO US! I bet it would be interesting TV News but instead, the usual drips and innocuous dumb banter with the anchor.

ReplyDeletedrop from 100 to about 65 in 30 minutes. Wind picks up to 40+ creating huge dust storms which infiltrate through every crack and covers the house in talcum like dust. We living out here have no understanding of what that's like.
So I will take what nature gives us and not complain.
