    1. Why are you bringing your wife into the conversation?

  2. Shanahan's play calling around the 6-minute mark of the fourth quarter doomed the Niners. The pass interference call against Kittle was the right call although the local cry babies are saying the officals screwed the local gridders. Shanahan seems to have a problem coaching in the Super Bowl first with Atlanta and now the Niners.

  3. Kansas City did way better than the 49ers. They deserve the win. For the 49ers, will the coach and the quarterback be let go like Kaepernick and Hardball.

    1. No, because they have actual talent.

  5. Typical Bay Area pansy team-can’t win the big game!

  7. On the bright side SF won't have to clean the poop and needles up for a parade.

    1. Thank your Democrat leaders. Keep electing 'em!

  8. Shanahan controlled offenses have given up 46 points and scored 0 in the two Stupor Bowls he has coached in. Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it.

    1. You're confusing offense and defense. Shanahan does not control the defense here, nor did he control the defense nor was he the head coach in Atlanta.

Nice attempt at trolling. The adults are chatting here.

And I'll have what he's smoking.

  9. Just remember, SF has been to the Super Bowl Arena seven times with s 5 win, 2 loss record. That's exceptional by any standard. And there is always next year.

  10. Running errands before the game I was listening to the two sports stations and their pre-game jibber-jabber. When did the Bay Area become Homer Town, USA? It was unbearable! They all were soooo confident and planning the parade already. As a jilted Raider fan, I hate the Chiefs but found my self rooting for them, for just one day.

    1. I'm a San Francisco native and have always rooted for the Giants, Niners, and Warriors, but this is a town of front runners and bandwagon jumpers. Always has been. If our teams win, people go. If they lose, crickets.

    2. Why? Because of a few on-air hosts?

      That's pretty sad.

  12. I love the prop bets for the Super Bowl -- coin toss, length of anthem, etc. Didn't see one on whether Beyonce would stand for the anthem. Too bad. I would have made a lot of $$ on that one!

  13. Caught part of the radio broadcast and I was taken away by two things:

    1. Papa had a hoarse voice and it was painful to hear. I was worried he might have swallowed his toupee.

    2. I think I heard two PSAs during the game. What's wrong with a station that can't sell local ads during a super bowl featuring a hometown team? They must have some serious problems at Cumulus.

  14. HELP! I know all the OG Niner fans will be able to cope and deal with the loss in their own way, but the snowflakes will need therapy! Grief counselors are standing by... Please send help!
