Talented, smart, does the weather rather than display her ego, but she hardly "blends in" like a wallflower. Dresses to kill, has elegant and graceful movements and clearly has been trained in dance and theater. Succinct, focused, never stumbles...all the things Bill Martin is not.
I like Kyla, when she does the weather I actually walk away knowing what the weather will be for the next few days. I don't feel that way with everybody. Plus she's just got a great personality to watch. I hope she stays in SF for the long haul.
She reminds me of the old school great broadcasters we used to get here. Sharp and a huge personality that's worth watching. Rich you're just not into skinny white girls LOL. But to be clear I am!

Since Tori was on air and visible, they didn't want to cause a scene, so they just quietly told her they would not be renewing her contract when it was up. And they didn't. There is a rumor going around that a few years back you and Jan Wahl were seen talking shop over pastrami at Grumpy's. Word is after having a few too many you were seen walking around SF wearing one of her hats and singing the theme song to Beach Blanket Babylon. Can you confirm or deny?
I know you don't care for her, but I find Sara Stinson on KRON to be total marriage material. Which of the current crop of field reporters would old Big Vinny walk down the aisle in a heartbeat if given the chance?
They still sell ads, they still are in a Top 10 market. And some people still do watch them. Which is why owning a TV station in a big market is still profitable. And expensive to buy one.
Where do they keep finding all the ridiculous under talented weather people on KRON. Are they straight from Fresno? I’d rather eat at an Arby’s in Stockton than watch KRON.

Neither, I go with Van Amburg because he was so great across the board and knew the moment. Nothing against Pete or Dennis, Van was just more grounded.
I really don't get why. They barely do any real news anymore. Everything is police blotter and press releases. Everything. At least the other stations, though nothing like they once were, still make an effort. And KTVU treads *very* lightly on Trump. You get bare-bones news about his antics, and the only coverage you get of any local politicians is what they fax over for you to cover. Sad and pathetic.
