415 Media Exclusive: KGO-TV's Chris Nguyen Back at 900 Front; Traumatic Sight Cause of MIA Since November

Image result for chris nguyen abc7  KGO-TV veteran reporter/anchor Chris Nguyen has been away from the ABC7 Front Street studios since November ...now we know why.

My KGO source tells me Nguyen was so traumatized by the sight of a body under a news van he had to take a leave and begin counseling

Nguyen is back at work and apparently OK but the incident clearly affected him to the point where he couldn't go to work.

I'll try to get more details in the coming days.

    4. Not racist, not personal, he looks like a nice guy. Good looking too. I'm not gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    5. You are not alone 6:58 same here, and if you defend Ronn just a little same thing happens.

    6. I'm betting Rich will not post this, but I have to concur with 6;58, don't say anything against Savage, or at least not much, and don't defend Ronn.

I don't get it, Rich is writing a blog and inviting comments, he ask for contributions, so he can keep this going. That means this is a business for him. I contributed $25.00 not too long ago, and was glad to do it. However, it is frustrating to get censored whenever I defend Ronn and criticize Savage, at least majority of the time. Does not make sense, it is not personal because we don't agree with your Rich. It is especially frustrating when there is racist and very crude comments being posted.

  3. And you all thought PTSD was a joke.
PTSD hits media the worse, too proud or afraid to ask for help.

  5. Enough. Let it go, Rich. There is no more news about this than the fact that Nguyen is back. Period.

  6. He does a nice job, but really- unless the DOA person was a friend or coworker he may need to rethink his choice of jobs. You're The Press dude. Never sign up as a war correspondent and on a side note look at how many people Rich has killed and buried in the media with this blog.
