The Ronnnnnnnnnn-Luckoff Feud is Back At Us

Ronn Owens used to DETEST ex-KGO and ABC Veep, Mickey Luckoff; back in the day Ronn clobbered Mickey in a salary arbitration case; Owens won and Luckoff vowed to never to talk to Ronnnnnn again.

Soon after Ronn's bout with Parkinson's Disease was disclosed both he and Luckoff thawed their ice-cold relationship but the strain is back on and it's as ugly as ever.

  2. If Luckoff had anything to do with Lowenstein's contract excluding Ronn from the Great Purge of 2011, that is not cool!!!

  3. So someone DOES care that Owens is still on the radio. Hmm.

  4. When is Lowenstein going away? He's beyond irrelevant. He's like the lint that gets on your coat: annoying but when you ignore it or pick it away, it just doesn't matter. Hope you're reading this pal. I'm sure you are.

    1. What's relevant at KGO/KSFO?

      It's over.

  5. That seems contrary to how the ronnster treated micky on his programs. Gossip? probably.

  6. "Welcome to the court of status, class, and tacky." It is one's own opinion about who at KGO, past and present, belongs in which category, though I suspect most of us would agree.

  7. What's KGO? Who the hell is Ronn and why does he go by a moniker and then spell Ron with two "n's". Is it because he is special?

  8. Too bad Mickey didn't read "The Art of The Deal". BYE BYE Ronnnnnn...

  9. Must have very been tough growing up with the name like Luckoff and be constantly called a *uckoff.

  10. Had a lot of driving around to do this weekend. Flipped through the radio channels for some good talk radio to pass the time. All to be found was infomercials. So sad that the once mighty KGO has now been reduced to a smoldering pile of infomercials on the weekend. KGO was such an important part of the Bay Area, really part of the fabric of our communities in so many ways. Len is awesome and hopefully he does come back. Though talk radio listenership is down, the powers at Cumulus have further driven numbers into the abyss by their immoral stewardship of KGO.
