  1. Nobody has been arrested!

  2. After the report of an arrest...Chris Cuomo on CNN went on air and said that when he had reported that the man "had brown skin",people asked him why would he say that? "And now we hear he IS brown skinned, its shows we were right to say it"...and then 20 minutes later reports were..no suspects or arrest of any skin.
He walked the plank to sound like he was on top..what an embarrassing prat fall that was.

    1. Rich, to the point, fairly and with consideration: There are lots of topics to use, not just being a one topic host or blogger. Preparation. The gun control background expansion was very important. Yes, Biden loooked like hell with the President's comments. However, you ignored it because you didn't know what was going on. Sad. A talk show host is always prepared. The vote was on air and as a story in the paper.

    2. Wow! Now it's a "young white man" with a white baseball hat and a grey hoodie. Just two days ago, it was a "dark or black man".

Kinda like "Ronn Owens set to retire!" then, "Ronn Owens signs new two year deal with Cumulus / KGO for $450,000 a year!"

      A-damn-mazing.

    3. @4:05 if you don't like the content or accuracy, don't come here?

    4. But why, 7:28. Facts are facts. Truth is truth. And that's the truth. Thanks for playing.

    5. Very good at 4:05pm. Had the same thought.

  3. This is what happens when you ask Manti Te'o and print before confirming.

    1. You are in such denial, Lieberman. You suck.

    2. Thanks--care for some after-dinner mints?

    3. OK, here you go, Rich.

      How about, "you REALLY suck".

What, all the pshychologists in Santa Cruz or Oakland off doing a three hour lunch, so you had to get a quack fro New Jersey? Makes no sense.

    4. Man, I sure love hearing a talk show host insult the very audience he is trying to attract to become a star. We wonder why no one uses their real name here or on the air? Wow! Good going, Rich. You are da man!

    5. @3:59 I love the guys who rip behind anonymous screenames. How about "you REALLY are a scared bitch"

  5. Another example of the insane competition in the Media Biz. It's to the point now with the Boston Bombings, you can cut the drama with a knife. Just report when there is something to report for Christ sake...

    1. Yes, and Lieberman is as guilty as anyone else. And worse, he criticizes everyone else as if he's better than them.

    2. At least CNN (and others) covers their ass. Rich just censors it. LMFAO!

    3. @4:19 was it really that funny to you? lol@people who rip the host behind anonymous screenames. Scared much?

  6. A qestion: Isn't this "the pot calling the kettle black"? Rich rails on CNN, righteously (and correctly) -- while doing the very same thing he does so many times. Reports from "his sources" that are dead wrong. Pages could be written, yet Rich says nothing of his own "CYA" efforts.

Amazing, he doesn't both to "censor" his own criticism of CNN (or others) but refuses to benefit from the criticisms of his poor performance on air and on the blog regarding the same thing.

Rich, you forgot one word -- that being "Hypocricy".

You may not have the "resources" of a CNN, but as "King of All SF Media" (yeah, I got it,) but it doesn't make what you do when you screw up any less.

After all, you shouting "FIRE!" in a dark movie theater is no different if you do it or someone else does it here, there or anywhere.

No one forced you to quote CNN or anyone. You made that call. A poor one, in fact. You should be ashamed. At a real radio station, you'd be fired.

    1. 3:18--What happened, did Rich kick you or something? The bile and venom in your post is troubling.

      Delete
    2. Exactly, Rich follows the pack, throws up banner headlines from Drudge, and then criticizes media coverage. You can't have it both ways.

      Delete
    3. Auntie L., I think 3:18 is factual and on point; unlike Rich's response that childishly resorts to name-calling.

  7. You're comparing me, ME to phucking CNN? The $10Billion company that has VAST resources to its operation. You made me laugh! Moron!

    1. It doesn't make what you say in print or on the air any different whether your a small fish or a big whale like CNN. You're not being compared to CNN. You are, in fact, wrong for quoting CNN. You are forgetting the first law of journalism: "Adjudicate" followed closely by "Confirm, confirm & confirm" before you print.

    2. Rich,

As a reguar listener (and poster) - it sure sounds like your glucose level has rapidly escalated to high. Did you take your insulin. I know how you feel. Diabetics can't have pizza, especially bad pizza.

  8. You can't buy that the President is the reason that the FBI presser was delayed. Why? It's still not been hel (3:22). The angry President (and you should have covered those remarks,) was much more important to cover than snide marks about CNN which you chose to "steal" comments and further them.

You have, now, no credibility, Rich.

    1. Rich,
I'm sorry, but please come back to blogging. Fix up your web site here and work on getting your own sources right before you print things that are wrong. You're a much better writer than a talk-show host. That's not bad. It means to do what you do best. Writing is it. Saying it, not so good. Sincerely, Tom

    2. We'll sit around and watch the Jodi Arias trial. Why aren't you on HLN? You'd be great there. Well, maybe.

    3. @3:25 you have, now, no balls in using an anonymous screename to post, anonymous poster.

    4. You are right Anonymous 7:32. I have no balls, now, nor will I. I'm a 49 year old woman from Aptos. I come here to see if Rich will hit on me. Have a good life. Kissy Kissy <3

  9. And then there is the incomparable Fox "News" that couldn't see it's way clear to cover the president's statement on the failure of senate to pass any gun safety legislation.

This is a shameful day for America.

    1. Rich, please edit...replace "safety" with "restriction" and "shameful" with "great"

  10. You sounded extremely angry and defensive at the end of your show today. Your pretend laughter about the criticism makes you sound insecure and sad.

  11. At least Rich is sincere and honest to a fault. What you see is what you get. He's got the best damm talk show on radio. Suck it up, fools!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Just hope it's not the end of the world happening when Lieberman is on the air. It will be reported wrong. Sincerity and "honest to a fault"? Are you kidding? What you see (as an audience) is deserving of better treatment and accuracy than "what you get." Otherwise, it's not worth it. Too many times, it's not. People deserve and expect more from people who report, no matter who they are. Thanks for the post, Rich.

  13. I love how the same guy can't compose his thoughts into one post and has to make 6 or 7 posts ripping Rich. If you don't like the blogger, if you don't like the content, if you don't care for anything having to do with this website....then leave? Why come here? Is your life so pathetic and sad that you have to come here and rip someone behind an anonymous screename over and over? Does it raise your self esteem? Have you gained street credentials? Do you feel women will now somehow find you more attractive and you'll finally get that date you've been hoping for the past 7 years? Move on. Leave the website. Perhaps tvland has a forumn you can comment on.

  14. OK, I'm not hiding or posting as anonymous.

Rich made an ass of himself today by throwing a hissy fit at the end of his show. He's seems blind to the fact that he's doing exacttly what he criticizes others for doing.

And the funniest part is that Rich sounds exactly like Radnich complaining about the pathetic people who rip him on the internet and when Radnich says it, he's complaining about Rich.

  15. DON'T WASTE TIME LISTENING TO COMMERCIAL RADIO.

UNFORTUNATELY, MOST OF THE COMPANIES THAT OWN COMMERCIAL RADIO ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN PROFITS, 'THE YOUNG DEMOGRAPHIC' AND TRASH JOURNALISM. SORRY TO SAY THIS, BUT I KNOW WHERE OF I SPEAK, HAVING WORKED IN RADIO AND TV FOR OVER THREE DECADES.

I DON'T WORK FOR KQED, BUT.. KQED FM GIVES YOU FULL AND COMPLETE INFORMATION WITHOUT CONSTANT INTERRUPTIONS FOR COMMERCIALS, TRAFFIC, WEATHER AND SPORTS UPDATES. NPR AND KQED ARE MUCH BETTER ALTERNATIVES THAN ANY OF THE COMMERCIAL OUTLETS. KCBS DOES A GOOD JOB, BUT THEY TRUNCATE THE NEWS TO STAY WITHIN THEIR HOURLY 'CLOCK.'

KQED IS CURRENTLY THE SECOND RATED RADIO STATION IN THIS MARKET NEXT TO KCBS. THE 'YOUNG DEMOGRAPHIC' UNFORTUNATELY, DOES NOT, REPEAT, DOES NOT LISTEN TO NEWS RADIO. THEY'RE MORE INTERESTED IN MUSIC, BUT EVEN MORE OF THEM HAVE THEIR I PODS, OR ARE TOO BUSY TWEETING, TEXTING, FACEBOOKING, AND REACTING TO BLOGS AS I'M DOING RIGHT NOW.

RADIO IS STILL THE ONLY MEDIUM HOWEVER THAT IS FREE, AND IF AMERICA EVER MELTS DOWN AND PEOPLE CAN'T USE THEIR CELL PHONES, OR OTHER PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES THROUGH SOME CATASTROPHIC EVENT, RADIO WILL PROBABLY STILL BE AVAILABLE.

I'M NOT A BIG FAN OF COMMERCIAL RADIO HOWEVER, BECAUSE IT'S NOW BEING RUN ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY BY BEAN COUNTERS, NOT BROADCASTERS.
