What happens when listening to Bob Fitzgerald from Noon-3

  1. A little off topic but: ESPN and most columnists who are giving Joe Paterno a pass for his boy molester coach are whats wrong with sports. To think that Paterno could have stopped that man a decade ago and chose to look the other way and wash his hands is criminal.
Joe Paterno condoned that child molester and that he hasn't been relieved of his job right now is money above children. Penn State? Spit on them.

  2. He stole his douche haircut, douche-cut. But it works if you're short with a pumpkin pie face.

And though I agree 100% with what you wrote about Joe Paterno and the fact that he condoned the behavior of Sandusky by not doing enough, I'd like to know who at ESPN and what specific columnists are giving Joe Paterno a free pass. As far as columnists are concerned, Ray Ratto, John Feinstein, Dan Wetzel, and even the editors of Penn State's paper, The Patriot-News, have all stated that what Joe Paterno did (or in this case, did not do) is beyond excusable and that he should resign. So, I don't know what you are talking about. If you can post a link to a news source and / or post the names of these columnists and people at ESPN who are going easy on JoePa, that would be greatly appreciated.

  11. Leave it to Radnich to defend Paterno..then on the other side of his mouth say he isn't. His listeners must be crazy I guess to be so confused.
What a nut to be so understanding of the wealthy and powerful you feel the need to defend a man who protected a child molester.

  13. SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS, THE THING ABOUT JOE PATERNO IS LIKE A CULT, PEOPLE FOLLOW HIM LIKE A CULT. HOWEVER(AND I VBELIEVE EVERYVODY IS INNOICENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, EXCEPT O.J)WHEN JOEPAT SAID :I SHOULD HAVE DONE MORE"THIS SOUNDS TO A LAYMAN LIKE ME LIKE AN ADMISSION OF GUILT.

  15. Bobby has come along ways since his days in Foster City with daddy as Mayor.

Bobby climbed to stardom at Serra High when he climbed all the way up the ladder as the Padres Head Cheerleader.

  18. Look-rather then write down everybody who works for ESPN-Take it from me,I listened to every host-male,female..not one at ESPN HQ said Paterno should resign or be fired. And then of course-he was fired. Fired because that man's ego wouldnt resign.
Only Jim Rome in L.A.said Joe had to go,btw.

  19. Is that Berlusconi, the current prime minister
of Italy who offered to resign once Italy
    passed the European reform package?

Is Berlusconi praying for himself or Joe
Paterno. Berlusconi liked to dally with
    underage girls.

I wonder if the condemnation of Jerry
Sandusky and Joe Paterno would be less
severe if Jerry had raped little girls
instead of little boys. Wonder if Jerry
Sandusky is married. Those details have
not come out. However, the homophobia
fear is very great in this case.

  20. 8:32..I'm talking about the players..not the young boys who were allegedly molested..the boys from poverty culled for this 'CHARITY". the boys with no clout..not the players..The players are rioting in the streets spouting their love of Joepa..Did you ever wonder if Mr. Paterno was similarly engaged in child sexual abuse? blasphemy? maybe not...and I'm the daughter of a football coach..so I get how important winning is.

  21. See breaking story...prosecutor disappeared...do you think football fervor could lead to murder?

also breaking...Sandusky..perhaps Paterno setting up young boys to 'SPEND TIME' with rich donors. how deep does it go?

  22. To Anonymous 8:50 a.m.- No, I'm not going to take it from you. . you made that assertion, not me. You now need to back up what you assert. And personally, I think you are talking a bunch of crap. Because Amy Lawrence, from ESPN radio, said Joe needed to be fired. And so did Dan Patrick, from ESPN. So did both FOX Sports talkshow host J.T. The Brick (and his co-host Rooney). And you still didn't address what specific journalists from ESPN gave Joe Pa a free pass.

So, don't give me this crap that everyone on the radio was giving Joe Paterno a free pass.

Get a clue and do some research before you post your drivel, will you?

    Idiot.

  23. Larry King looks like a skinny Joe Paterno.

  24. Craft: You are one of the worst talk show hosts in the world. I recall when you defended killer
pit bulls, and your rant following the shooting of Kathleen Gifford's shooting ( you flat out said that Palin was morally responsible). You are the worst kind of vermin, a hack, and a third string host at best. Ever wonder why you never get promoted? Now, you suggest that Paterno was involved in the molesting. You are one sick old bag.

  25. and you need to pay attention to fact. Who is kathleen Gifford? Mr. Paterno concealed the anal rape of young boys for over a decade. It is perfectly reasonable to ask further about his culpability..about who he was protecting and why. I have never defended a 'KILLER" pit bull. There were two dogs in the case you reference out of Pacifica. One was involved..the other wasn't. I didn't think the uninvolved dog should be euthanized and I still don't. I'll be talking about the Paterno situation in vivid detail on the radio...shortly..just hours from now. I'm always delighted to be on KGO and have been for many years. Full time employment representing injured workers and the disabled also takes a considerable chunk of time.
