Vic Lee; Unsung Reporter Extraordinaire; worked at old KRON and now at KGO-TV
Vic Lee is one of the most heralded Bay Area TV street reporters. He's a solid pro, having worked at KRON from 1972 through 2006 as a General Assignment reporter, and now filing for KGO-TV/ABC7.
Lee knows the SF beat well and has a keen sense to be where the action is. In addition, he's a great political reporter with numerous interviews with current and past SF mayors, Sacramento lawmakers, and others.
What I like most about Lee is his voluminous list of SF contacts--the cops, the DA's office, the unions--Lee has a key source in every dept. and it shows in his work.

I have watched Vic since 1972 and he is a solid solid reporter. With so much time being devoted to personalities with gimmicks it's good to see that a professional reporter and journalist is still gainfully employed.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Vic in one of the Dirty Harry pics?
