KRON has hired a new weather predictor who is not blond; but an Internet rapper "sensation", Nick Kosir, scheduled to begin performing in a few weeks. (Wonder if he gets a $500 signing bonus?--yeah, I know, cheap shot, but its KRON)
Kosir, a former Akron, Ohio, meteorologist/DJ, gained Internet fame on Youtube as the "Rapping Weatherman." The bit is mildly amusing until you realize that after about a week of this shtick, one can reasonably assume the novelty will wear off and KRON will be KRON again. (Wonder how Radnich will react to this?)
Kosir replaces the lovely Evelyn Taft, currently looking for high-pressure systems in LA and trying to become the next weather version of Megyn Kelley.

So it is true, Taft is off to LA. One less reason to watch KRON. Kosir just won't look as good in a tight sweater than Evelyn. I haven't even seen it but the Rapping Weather thing already sounds old. Schtick runs thin very quickly.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and thanks to Taft. Darya seems to be the last woman standing (along with Gary and Pam). With Darya on, can we change the call letters from KRON to KUGR? I know, lame joke, but I do like Darya and I can't get the words "revolving door" down to four call letters starting with K.
He should use his new larger income for quality hair plugs. How's that for cheap(but true) shot?
