Eric Davis, the ex-SF 49ers defensive star, and new radio color analyst, has been added by 95.7 FM and will be doing a four-hour PM drive show, (2-6 PM, beginning August 1)
Davis is also an NFL/49ers analyst on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.
Davis should be a good addition to the new FM outlet, mixing both his background in the NFL and sports in general and providing first-hand knowledge and opinions.
He comes across as level-headed and no-nonsense. He's also shown an astute analysis of the game on the camera; how that translates to radio nobody knows, but I'm guessing Davis will be a solid addition for the new radio outlet.
