Agreed. Anyone with social media accounts wants attention and accepts the public scrutiny, but many only wants positive feedback and complains about negative feedback. If someone can't handle both, then social media isn't for that person.
Tis to laugh; You're feeding the beast Lieberman, stroking the narcissist that is Julie Haener with your continued commentary. "There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about". Oscar Wilde.
Julie Haener loves that FaceBook adoration. But, one faux pas and her dream world becomes a disaster. You are right Rich, either embrace the limelight, or get the hell out of it. She Haener, cannot have it both ways. Even a school kid knows you don’t post anything about friends in the hospital. This is a case of a BlackHawk bimbo not reading the room. But I expected nothing less of the newsreader/equestrienne. She is not a lung surgeon.
Agreed 100%. Lieberman is a bitter, disappointed guy who constantly spews his resentment towards those he envies. Doubt he’ll publish this. He’s also thin-skinned.
2:16, true. Maybe it was the stress of working at KTVU, the pressure of her son trying to make it to the NFL and his subsequent suspension for drug use, or perhaps just too much partying, but regardless, it looked like Haener aged about 15 years during her final three years at KTVU.
Julie done nothing wrong, Dennis needs support from viewers and fans we all know he is well respected and first long time African American anchor in the Bay Area working for an Oakland TV station. If people thinks Julie wants attention, he can promote his NFL son but he kept a simple profile about this as more personal. Please leave Julie alone and pray for Dennis. I actually want her and Rich to get more updates on Dennis.
"Julie done nothing wrong, Dennis needs support from viewers and fans we all know he is well respected and first long time African American anchor in the Bay Area...blah blah blah..."
Then she could have just offered an update without the pics, without the personal details, etc. Simple. It's been done a million times before by more sensitive people.
Raise your hand if you think Dennis asked Julie to take his photos while bedridden and share them on her personal social media account along with a written narrative of his private health information.
Exactly. Even if she asked him permission (which I’m sure she did) that’s still not an excuse because her actions were entirely self-serving.
If she really wanted to spread an update on Dennis, a simple written update would've served the purpose, but she decided to post a video of her with Dennis, not showing him in the most presentable state. I wouldn't call what she did to be blatantly self-serving, but it was inappropriate.
Precisely. Share an update, with his consent, with a couple of photos of him from when he was at ktvu. Better yet, ktvu should have shared the update on their official social media, rather than Julie doing it on her accounts a year after she was shown the door.
“Hey Dennis, I know you’re barely coherent but let me take some pictures and videos of you in your hospital bed and share them with random strangers on the internet who I don’t give two shits about!”
I’ve worked for three large hospitals in the Bay Area, and all three had policies that prohibited any photography, video, or audio recording by patients and visitors anywhere inside the facility unless hospital approval was granted. Not to mention on her Facebook post she even mentioned the exact hospital Dennis is at. Tacky, classless, disrespectful and can’t even play by the rules.
Let’s be honest - Julie Haener is a DingBat who punches far above her weight. She read the news, Big Deal. She has a FacePlant following, Big Deal. She posts photos of herself in various states of dress, Big Deal. What Julie Haener is not is something special. Plastic from head to toe.
If any of you think for ONE SECOND that Dennis didn't want to be the center of attention (even with his health issues) you're delusional. Some of you see to have forgotten how narcissistic Dennis was back in the day. I mean really.... Do you think Andre Senior was the first person to wear a suit 1 size too small?!?!
Julie is "C" Talent as contrasted to the "A's": Elaine Corral and Leslie Griffith.
ReplyDeleteWhat (who) do Julie and Leslie have in common?
DeleteGetting diddled by a guitar company name.
DeleteAgreed. Anyone with social media accounts wants attention and accepts the public scrutiny, but many only wants positive feedback and complains about negative feedback. If someone can't handle both, then social media isn't for that person.
ReplyDeleteVery logical, but logic goes out the window once things don't go as expected.
DeleteTis to laugh; You're feeding the beast Lieberman, stroking the narcissist that is Julie Haener with your continued commentary.
ReplyDelete"There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about". Oscar Wilde.
Can't stand her. A snot. All ego and no chops. She's gotten her way her entire life because she's "pretty."
ReplyDeleteShe ain't that pretty, but is adored by those that reside in Napa
Delete4:49PM: I think you mean Danville unless she moved in with Ibanez.

Totally agree to all posts except her being "pretty", which she is definitely not!
ReplyDeleteWhat’s the deal with wannabe socialite Betty Yu? How can she afford her wardrobe and land on BS magazines??
ReplyDeleteShe’s dating an uber rich venture capitalist.
Delete@4:04 friends in high places
DeleteBetty mentions the designer on IG and she gets to wear the garb for the night.
DeleteRich, you are and ever have been the conduit of hate. Do you have the guts to publish this? Prove it!!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed 100%. Lieberman is a bitter, disappointed guy who constantly spews his resentment towards those he envies. Doubt he’ll publish this. He’s also thin-skinned.
DeleteRich is neither and proved it by publishing both of your comments Jules
DeleteJulie is the G.O.A.T
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark
DeleteGood to hear from you Ibanez. Now back to the Vinyl Room.
DeleteI think it means Julie looks like a GOAT which I agree makes more sense

You seriously think Dennis asked her to broadcast his affairs on Facebook? You’re insane.

ReplyDeletestop treating these washed up news reader like haener like they’re something special. they’re nothing more than a bunch of self-aggrandizing asshats

ReplyDeleteLeave Julie alone. She did her job exceptionally well for 25 years. Let her ride off into the sunset and enjoy the twilight of her life in peace.
ReplyDelete"Exceptionally well"? How exceptionally? She read the news with a frozen face. I could do that.
Delete“ She read the news with a frozen face. I could do that.”
DeleteWell-said. The stiffest anchor since Nora O’Donnell.
@ 11:17 Couldn't agree more, enough with the hate, too much already
