  1. Miller was best when he teamed up with Joe Morgan for the Sunday Night Baseball. Even though I'm not a Giants fan, I like Miller's style. It's laid back and smooth, just like how baseball is. He's a Bay Area native, but unlike Kruk/Kuip, he's not a Giants homer.

  2. Baseball team owners are billionaires. The owners voted unanimously to give the green light to move the A’s to Vegas. The Giants benefit by the A’s moving. Perhaps Miller was told “don’t mention the A’s move” by the higher up$ ? As often happens late in the Spring, there are several players on the bubble, they can either make the opening day roster, get sent down, or get let go. From a team watching perspective, the important story-line is “who’s going to be on first?” not “billionaire wants more money”.
I say we ship Fisher to Vegas, he belongs in that dump.

  3. Jon Miller is one of the best baseball broadcasters of all time. You're picking nits, Rich.

  4. Rich, John Fisher is not a carpetbagger. He’s a liar, selfish bastard and money monger, but he’s from the Bay Area. People in Las Vegas can call him a carpetbagger, but you can’t call him that in relation to his dealings with Oakland. Liar works. Greedy applies. Manipulator works well. I like SOB. But Carpetbagger is incorrect. Sorry.

  5. Hey Rich. Its been awhile since we last chatted. Sorry i been dealing with personal family issues. Just curious I saw Paul Deanno the other morning on KPIX...did he come back or is he just temporary? Thank you and I hope all is well with you and family...

  6. Jon Miller reminds me of Gary "Laugh In" Owens...a guy with his hand over his ear so he can hear the depth of his own voice and orgasm over it. With maybe a made-up sports-ish story or two. All to impress you by rattling your sub woofer, yet with vapid content. Go A's.
