For years he and Terry did the local cut-ins for the Jerry Lewis MDA telethons, always doing a great job. Back then anchors were very good at adlibbing, somewhat of a lost art today, except for a few.
A talented and gifted newsman! Was born to anchor and did it well and naturally …plus a good guy! He and Terry were terrific couple and fun to know and socialize with!!!
Got lucky when he married Terry Lowry (a hottie that "met" a few times).
