A Little Truth about Len Tillem and KGO-Cumulus

THE TRUTH: Make sure you realize this: when he ( Len Tillem) and others were shown the door in 2011 (last December, the 10th anniv.), KGO and Cumulus suits were not so caring and sympathetic. They ran them to the ground and couldn't care less about their well-being and future.

Tillem was OK and fiscally together. He didn't need the money. He worked because he loved to talk to the people. He loved his show. He was genuine and REAL, unlike the boobs that showed no mercy and let him go.

When you hear some KGO hosts talk today and express their love for Len, keep this all in the back of your mind. Don't let the BS that will hit the airwaves today (Tuesday), mask what happened and what took place. It's important. It needs to be known and Mr. Len Tillem would be the first to want it out there, to all of you.

  1. He had lots of advice for people with DUI's and people who wanted to keep granny's money while putting her in a nursing home. He said that all pit bulls should be executed. No broadcast employer has to give fired employees feather beds.

    1. John and Pat talked about Len Tillum at the end of Pat's program. I agree with Greg B, the hosts and cumulus management are two different things. Pat said she stayed in touch with Len for awhile, I don't doubt that Pat and John liked Len and was saddened by his death.

  4. Any talk show host expressing love for Len had nothing to do with his or anyone else's firing, so I'm not sure how the way KGO management handled personnel over 10 years ago proves any expression of love for Len is not sincere.

  5. You won't hear any board ops expressing love for verbally abusive talent.
