415 Media Exclu: HR Boss, Chris Nohr OUT at KTVU

CHRIS NOHR, HR BOSS at KTVU OUT.

The HR czar had been at KTVU since 1989 and is widely detested and frowned upon. I heard Fox might have nudged her out the door and called it a retirement. Nohr was offered a decent settlement because corporate didn't want to have any issues arise out of giving the heave-ho to a veteran Bay Area management figure at its O and O.

Itv was Nohr that was the key figure in installing the almsot THIRTY surveillence cameras in and around KTVU and who administered the stiff and rigorous penalties taking place if/when an employee was deemed insubordinate, including Frank Somerville himself. (Still suspended).

Recently, FOX sent an internal crew to Oakland to see and hear what the hell was going on at KTVU and now Nohr is OUT. Coincidence? You be the judge.

Again, looks like Fox is spinning this as a "retirement."

BS.

    2. In the photo of her above, if you look to the top right you'll see Frank Somerville.

  3. That's one down and one to go. Get rid of Eikel too and you'll be on the right path. Do the cameras go with her?

  4. Hopefully things get better. Difft topic has Amanda Starratino at prime time now? She is not on morning with Len and I see her on tonight? Did Juliette Goodrich retire? Where is Gianna Franco? She has been gone for a couple of weeks?

    1. Goodrich wasn't there on the weekend so you can assume it's a vacation this week and you can bet PIX wants to push their new shiny toy Starratino...

    2. If Indianapolis had a face it would be Starratino

    3. Much much more attractive than the types the stations roll out there nowadays to meet quotas.

  5. It has been there for 30+ years, so for it to be eligible for Fox retirement benefits, they probably have to say it retired. You can be sure it is smiling right now, even though it doesn't have a job. It has retiree medical benefits when it becomes eligible, 401(k) and possibly a pension. It didn't get a nice executive/VP severance parachute, but it is probably not doing badly. Don't be surprised if it resurfaces somewhere else. Possibly not in media but in some HR capacity.

  6. Oh, so THAT's Chris Nohr. All this time, I thought we were talking about a man. Not that it really mattered. Out is OOHT, is they say in Canada. I recall seeing her photo here one year ago, but I forgot in what context.

    1. The days of having a man as head of HR are long gone. Companies want a female as head of HR and a female of color is even better.

  7. Fox sent in its moles and got the dirt from the inside, found all the statements made by HR to be true and before anyone had a chance to cash in....they canned her. How much you want to bet Frank will be back sooner than you think, as long as he does customary AA bullshit to get his job back.

  8. Nohr out the door
Frank got a spank (not coming back-ack-ack-ack)
Still hoping Eikel lands in the recycle (i.e. gets crushed and goes away on a bicycle?)
But today is a good day at KTVU
Now cut loose the rest of the dead weight and let's get this pony to run again!
The question becomes was Nohr the fall guy and is Fox not hip to the damage Eikel is doing.
Or are they just getting started and there's more dominoes to fall?
    Stay tuned.

  9. Would be great to see the head of HR get booted out and Frank Sommerville returning.

  10. Chris Nohr or Christine Craft, the world relies on our procreating. Chris Nohr wins by a mile and she's no prize!

  11. Good to see a psychopath getting the boot. More of this needs to be done.
