*KGO Radio: producers resentment across the board; Thompson gets worser from 10-Noon; Franklin maybe pegged for help from 6-10 AM? You betcha.
*Posers galore at Circle7 --Building a Better Bay Area? How about building a better newscast.
I turned on KGO for the first time in over 2 years today and heard Papa calling the Niners game. I was driving my kids to a hiking camp and found the game on the radio. The moment I turned it on he was yelling "TOUCHDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN NINERS!"

Papa corrected himself but it sounded so bad for him to not even know that but to go so crazy for the Niners. It's like he was never even a Raiders fans in the first place. Kind of fraudulent in my opinion.
Probably won't turn on KGO for another two more years.
Chip Franklin would be excellent for the 6 to 10am morning commute time slot. Medoro is horrible

ReplyDeletekcBS should just cut out the sports segment @ 15 and 45. The "Sports Desk" has a taped repeat most of the time with the anchor of the hour fumbling through the local sports scores. Worthless! OH by the way if they did cut the sports segment out they could ad MORE commercials. Then instead of your bay area news station it could be your bay area commercial station. What a mess this station has turned into...
