"Hey Frank Somerville, stay off Facebook and STOP posting!"
Indeed, Someervile has been ordered to abstain from his bizarre Facebook postings. His last entry was a week ago. And Fox made it clear that as part of his semi-probation to get back on KTVU's central radar, he refrain from social media and just read the news from the anchor desk. That's about all --clearly, Frank is not happy with this but he has no leverage and no choice but to obey The Firm.
The guy has to go. He's an embarrassment, especially his FB posts.

ReplyDeleteI must admit that I don't follow Frank or KTVU news much, but that being said, everything you hear about this guy it's negative. At some point their going to either have to get him serious help or cut him loose. It's not good for the network.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should stay off social media, especially Freakbook. As for Frank, he should just move on and take care of his issues.
ReplyDeleteFox is longsuffering with Frank, probably to avoid a lawsuit. If his performance doesn't improve he'll be gone before his contract renewal.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to showing Frank the door, KTVU should also give pink slips to Dave Clark, Rosemary Orozco and Bill Martin. All three bring down the quality of whatever newscast they’re on. On the other hand promote Kyla to Bill’s spot and Alex Savidge to Franks’s spot. And let’s not forget, Christina Rendon will be back soon!
