CHRISTINE CRAFT: Pain in ass? Of course she is. But a certifiable must-listen talk host? YOU BETCHA!
Christine is a load. So am I. We all have that inner burst of extreme ego. I can't stomach the Craft personal edicts; Christine, you know because she will tell you every time she gets to, has never been wrong and always right.
BUT...
Christine Craft and former Senator Al Franken |
Christine is a pain, yes, again, but she moves the needle. Duh! She is crisp and tenacious. She is interesting and entertaining --which is a good talk-show entity, especially on KGO. I'm not a happy camper with CC when she gets shrill with some callers but I must admit it's a blast to listen to and it makes me laugh all the time. CC can elicit the bitch sentiment but that's far too easy a response. She damn near dominates the proceedings --again, it's good radio and it's fun and entertaining --I'm a believer.
Loud smooch sound. Someone send some of them there official papers?
ReplyDeleteBecause Christine often responds to Rich's posts and reacting comments by his PayPal donating responders, I have one important topic for the dedicated Ms. Craft to consider.
ReplyDeleteHow disgusting it is that a hospitalized 75-year old Caucasian who was standing up for African-American human and voting rights only to be pushed down by the Buffalo Police has suddenly become the target of very sick conspiracy theories coming from a cable network that the Incumbent thinks highest of called OANN. No senior citizen, healthy or hospitalized should be subjected to a verbal beatdown like that. Christine, please cover this unconscionable story on one of your future broadcasts. It is high time that OANN gets called to the carpet for impeding the efforts of both our protesters, our frontline workers, and our voters. They, along with other Right Wing Media & Donors, along with the Evangelical Advisory Board and the Senate Majority Leader's group of GOP colleagues are very much trying to destroy our country as we know it by forcing "Christian Law". The Floyd murder and OANN's evil efforts are just tips of a large iceberg. Please bring that out into the open. Thanks, CC!
Unfortunately Mr X put himself in a situation where this happened and he knows better. I hope he recovers soon.
DeleteDear triggered CNN fan,
DeleteChristine isn't on the air anymore.
Try changing the channel from CNN and MSLSD now and then. It will do your mind wonders. Echo chamber.
Sincerely,
The Real World
Unless you're willing to get tear gassed, beaten up and spend time in jail your'e not really a protester, you're just a wimp complaining. No senior citizen needs to be out protesting with a bunch of children -- bones way too brittle. Rather, time to sit down and write letters to his legislators.
Delete"Unless you're willing to get tear gassed, beaten up and spend time in jail your'e not really a protester, you're just a wimp complaining".
DeleteAnother moron posting with no real life experience.
We love Christine Craft because she represents a
ReplyDeleteWhite perspective on life in the Bay Area.
Thank you. I don't know how most of these anchors and reporters stomach the bs they have to report day after day celebrating a criminal. KTVU has practically become the all-black news network.
DeleteNo, I don't. I don't live in the Bay Area, and haven't since the 1970's when it was really cool. I was the cream filling in the oreo cookie at KPIX-tv, working with two stellar men of cocoa hue.
DeleteOMG what a hot description!
DeleteDid one of them become your husband?
Deletewell I'm not on the radio....I'd have lots to say, if I were. For example, why is no one mentioning that the four cops were racially diverse? One was black( officer Keung..black, raised by Korean adoptive parents, two were white, one was Hmong. Is there any indicia that any of the cops, including the black one, expressed anti black racial animus? Should the black rookie cop have drawn his weapon on the kneeler cop, to stop him? Are we sure? Do we know whether those racial diverse cops would have treated another suspect in the same or similar circumstances involving passing counterfeit money with the ink still wet , and refusing to get into a squad car because of claimed "claustrophobia", while high on a lethal dose of fentanyl(11mg/ml...per autopy..2mg/ml is fatalfor average male) would have treated a white, Asian or hispanic suspect differently?
ReplyDeleteAs for the geezer who got pushed after approaching a phalanx of advancing special riot unit cops who had issued a lawful dispersal order to a crowd of angry protestors, three things should never be at violent protests: dogs, kids, frail geezers.. I'm a geezer so don't tell me I can't own the word. Btw,Rich...why won't you publish the picture I sent you, taken just the other day, the one with the reference to breasts? Why are you using a picture with Al Franken that is ten years old?
If you are brave enough to say those things I would give you credit, but even a black woman who said George Floyd was no model and no martyr (he wasn't) had her Go Fund Me and social media accounts taken away from her. Nobody can speak out these days. It's totalitarianism. And as usual with totalitarians, they're the ones claiming they're being censored and persecuted, just like the Nazis set fire to the Reichstag in 1933 and then said "Who did that???"
DeleteInteresting how the media breathlessly reported that the cop had 18 prior complaints against him but no mention of the fact that George Floyd had been in jail so many times before this incident that they named a cell after him. Narratives only go one way in today's media, which is why Trump will win again in 2020.
DeleteYea Rich, publish the breast photo!
DeleteFor uh, research. Yea that's it, research.
If not, where can we see said picture? For uh research again.
Stop beating around the bush already........and ask her out!!!
ReplyDeleteReplace Mark Thompson with CC and I'd start listening to KGO in the mornings.
ReplyDeleteYour sick
DeleteI'd listen to C.C. over Chip of "have you been inspected for termites" fame. He talks too fast, interrupts his guests & callers. Annoying as hell. Thinks he's funnier than he is.
DeleteHey look it's that Al Franken (D) guy that likes to harass women in a sexual manner when they are sleeping.
ReplyDeleteAl never touched the sleeping raunchy men's mag model/slash radio hostess... He made a gesture of turning dials, without touching her flak jacket, through which she could feel nothing,in any event...
DeleteWhere was Al's left hand?
DeleteChristine Craft, stopped respecting you when you were supporting Bernie Ward after he was convicted of child porn & after stories of him trying to have relations with one of his students while he was a priest.
DeleteHey Rich, do you ever use the word "shrill" when critiquing a male host is that just a female thing?
ReplyDeleteDid Franken grab her hooters?
ReplyDeleteI wish Franken was still in the Senate. Gillibrand railroaded a good man just to score some points for a failed run for president. Plus he's Stuart Smalley. He good enough. He's smart enough, and doggonit people like him.
ReplyDeleteI find myself agreeing with Christine's comment about the four police officers and also the geezer. Being a geezer myself, I would never put myself in that position.
ReplyDeleteThis almost makes up for all the times on "This Week in Northern California" that I wished Ms. Craft would just shut up and let the people talk, instead of her very annoying interrupting. I do miss that program, and especially Belva.
I always liked Christine Craft on KGO and she is a trained attorney with good knowledge of the workings of the law and court rooms.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christine for your observations. Everyone is so quick to claim racism. The officers were called out to the Floyd event. He just happened to be black. They didn't go looking for a black subject randomly. The old gentleman in Buffalo - yeah, you don't walk up and attempt to touch an officer multiple times especially when they are in a skirmish line. He put himself in a dangerous situation even after announcements were made to clear the area. Consequences.
ReplyDeleteIn San Jose, SJPD is regularly assaulted for making traffic stops on "disproportionate" numbers of Hispanic drivers. Um, a very significant population of San Jose is Hispanic.
I always agreed with Christine about her doggies. Maybe not other things, but we share a common love of our dogs.
ReplyDelete7:22, well said, I’m cool with her love of dogs and her pop, but her political opinions and I don’t jive. Her ego is off the chart for no reason.
ReplyDeleteOnce you go black you never go back. Jeans that is!
