KPIX is out of control. It's been that way for God knows, how many years? Too long to fathom. The idiot in charge of the insane asylum at the Battery/Broadway office is a total incompetent schmuck: News Director, Mark Neerman.
The butthead, according to my peeps at PIX is a total wuss, a blowhard with all the creative prowess of a horny ferret --I could tell you countless stories about the nebbish, Neerman, but I'll save that for a future column.
Neerman is laughed at behind closed doors by the few personnel still at the building --most work from home because of the virus.
Neerman was having some Zoom conference recently and brought my name up--a mass insult but at least he pronounced my name right. If the jerk continues to run KPIX into the ground he'll be on a fast track to Fresno soon where the wonder bread is ripe and Velveeta cheese is stocked en fuego. A good fit for the idiotic dictatorial short man, Neerman.
The one time I corresponded with him over a story idea that was exactly the impression I got. I went over to Ch 11 and gave them the story instead and they ran with it.

ReplyDeleteRemember where it all started. He's just the latest idiot running KPIX. It was Roseheim that had been the disaster there for many years. Before that he ruined KRON and installed the biggest moron of them all Pero. Two stations (with the lowest ratings) destroyed by the worst news director in Bay Area history. Thanks Dan. ReplyDeleteI worked with this dude before. I don't disagree with anything that's written. He tries to come across as a fun understanding boss but he definitely has his inner circle who get priority treatment. Once you cross him, you're on the crap list. Not a good manager at all.
