Bunger Pay Cut at KCBS as Entercom Chops and 86s Take Effect --Coronavirus Ravages Broadcast Advertising

RICH LIEBERMAN 415 MEDIA: It's War Between KCBS' Bunger and ...
Stan Bunger

ENTERCOM CUTS, Cuts, and cuts in San Francisco too --as a result of virus hit on local broadcast advertising, KCBS and other station personnel take deep hit.

Like morning-drive anchor, Stan Bunger, a thirty year-plus staffer who makes roughly $350 Thousand? No more, as Bunger's salary has been cut --big time, a what?-- massive percent pay cut! Bunger will have to settle for a measly $200K a year, hardly chump money but in Bay Area dollars? Not much.

It could be worse.

Like these guys discovered.

  2. Sarah & Vinnie have discussed this issue also. Any idea how much their salaries have been slashed?

  3. Stan makes a ton to read copy. I'm surprised he wasn't laid off and have others working part time to replace him.

  4. $350k? Way overpaid. Should of been $200k all along, reduced to $120k now.

  5. I remember Stan when he was News Director at a small radio station in South Lake Tahoe some 40 years ago. Probably made a whopping $800/month back then, sounds exactly the same today as he did then.
