YOU REACTED POSITIVE--I heard enough to immediately call out this guy for his shtick and non-funny material. And that's what it is, material. It's no conversation. It's no sincerity. It's a crockpot of dialed-up stuff.
See, those like this Chris Merrill (who was filling in on KGO) have no way of actually communicating so they do this rehearsed shtick and love hearing their voice and talking contrived BS. I'm harsh because I've heard this before where it's all faked show talk.
Too bad Merrill can't hold down an honest conversation and discussion. I don't need to give this guy an extended listen because I already know his pedigree. You want honesty from me, I give you that.
Honesty would be letting 100% of the comments through on this blog.
ReplyDeleteKGO doesn't attract talent these days. Anybody who is any good will listen to their lineup -- Chip, Pat, John R., et al. -- and realize this is a station that's dead. Only a matter of time until its flipped to all-satellite programming.

DeleteKGO is run by Lee Hammer. What are your expectations? Think how bad KNBR became and then they moved him to KGO. THey did him a favor just to not fire him and they probably want an adult there since a child now runs KNBR. Look at our lineup on KGO now. Lower your expectations!
