MY Circle7 spy of which there are many has informed me that morning update anchor, Jessica Castro is leaving KGO for parts unknown.
Castro has been at ABC7 doing update work in the morning and occasionally fill-in anchoring.
Her high profile let some believe that she would either get a more prominent position, either during the morning, or maybe something more prime time.
This wasn't helping matters. A rivalry? No, but let's just say it didn't help matters. There's abundant rumors that Castro will head south where she's prime talent for the FOX LA people.
As usual, I will investigate.

So nice to see Jessica back in the anchor chair yesterday and this morning. So sad to see her go! Natasha and Reggieboy feed on each other's smarmy,twinkie, snowflakey tendencies! Natashas boobs are bigger than Jessica's, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the fake, plastic, poser!
ReplyDeleteJessica tries to hard to make everything think she is so intellegent. She tries to constantly one up Reggie and everyone else. She reads a lot of books and is studying to get her masters degree. Good for her. She's average looking at Best.
ReplyDeleteKnew this was coming, it is pointless working with Natasha showing no professionalism taking her mini Memorial Day days off anchoring after returning in less than a month, is she the boss of KGO coming to work whenever she likes and enjoys her time off at anytime??? One thing is Jessica has a Masters Degree boosting her professionalism as an anchor, Natasha doesn't on her profile!! Someone must be enjoying a mini vacation in hopes of being the wife of a medical professional soon as reported earlier she is dating someone.

DeleteJessica already had her Master's degree, but it honestly does nothing to help her career, as it is NOT in journalism. And agreed with others here, in that she is only average looking at best. The irony is that if what good ole Rich says is true, it would be funny if Jessica gets a gig in LA instead of Natasha, who according to rumors, wants to go there badly!

DeleteSo I know a girl who is very high up in one of the huge medical companies who has a masters degree and can't balance her own checkbook.
ReplyDeleteI get your point, in that having a Master's degree does not guarantee you are smart. It does however, mean that at that time, in that particular area of study, the person proved that all things considered at the time, they proved that they know all there is to know, about that particular subject, which is the definition of a Master's degree, which is, at that level, one knows all that is known, about a particular subject. The next level of course, is the doctoral level, at which, the definition to get there, is that one has to "create new knowledge" of a particular subject to attain the doctoral acknowledgements. I think we have all known people who had graduate levels degrees, who as you said, "can't balance her own checkbook". A level of education does not guarantee common sense!
