Papa Loses Raiders' Gig; Might Try 49ers NBC Sports Bay Area But He'll Have to Fight Dave Feldman. They Have History

*Had a $500,000 per-year contract with the Raiders. Gonno.

*His radio (95.7 FM 'The Game') position Noon-3 PM weekly pays him about $300,000 annually.

*Warriors/NBC Sports Bay Area studio host pays him $350,000

So clearly, Papa is not starving but the Raiders PBP gig was 500 grand. That's a lot of overhead defeating cash that suddenly is out the window. Papa isn't angling for a 49ers job in radio (that's Ted Robinson's gig and he's not going anywhere) ; if anything, Papa might be gunning for the NBC Sports Bay Area 49ers studio host which currently belongs to Dave Feldman.

Could Papa utilize a ploy to ace out Feldman? These two don't like each other. You know that?

    Feldman and his cohort Fareed are idiots. How they keep their jobs is beyond me.

      Ahmed Fareed just plays dumb for laughs. Feldman grates at me because of he needlessly insults his guest co-hosts.

    One of the biggest problems with NBCSN is that most of their hosts are very unlikeable. Feldman, Fareed, Ratto, Brodie Brazil. We won't even mention the two Warriors Outsider clowns. I can't listen to any of them for more than five minutes. I'm not sure who does the hiring over there but that person is the one who should be let go.

    agree, everyone is awful at nbc/comcast or whatever it is.. i wouldnt mind seeing "uncle towney" off the raider shows on radio, but that wont happen because he works for 95.7 not the raiders.. he is more overexposed then anyone
