A source inside the KGO newsroom contacted Shumann and told me Shumann said:
"it's all a total misunderstanding."
The source said he (Shumann) would not elaborate but indicated that he meant to return the jacket to the Warrior's employee.
In a video, obtained by KPIX Shumann is seen taking a jacket from inside the AT&T arena and leaving the building soon after.
Shumann, I'm told, is still employed by ABC/Disney, which owns KGO and that no decision on his status has been made.
To be fair to Shue, an investigation should be completed prior to making any rash judgements, before showimg him the door.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stupid comment. No wonder Trump was elected president. Americans can no longer reason.
DeleteIn this day and age? Are you mad? Due process is for sissies.
DeleteIf the tape is accurate -- that is, it hasn't been doctored -- then he took the jacket. Maybe he has an explanation, like how it's his practice to return missing items to their owners. But I can't dismiss the possibility of kleptomania. The most ordinary people are afflicted by it. Remember when State Sen. Leland Yee was caught stealing a bottle of suntan lotion? Or when East Bay Assemblywoman Mary Hayashi was caught shoplifting at Neiman Marcus in SF? Kleptomania is a weird kink that otherwise law abiding people have.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dr. PHIL.
DeleteIf I was Shu .... I would say the same thing.

ReplyDeleteHELL NO it doesn't warrant an investigation.
We have a network (Fox News) that jumps at every chance to excoriate any Democrat. If Fox reports erroneous news, it simply shrugs it off...and moves on to the next Dem victim.
KGO should just fire Shuman...and move on. The quicker KGO lets him go--without comment, even, because everyone would know why--the quicker this mess goes away.
Yes...
DeleteDems are always "Victims".
Glad you are finally learning.
What was he doing in shorts and backwards hat. He's a dick clown. Very unprofessional.
ReplyDeleteDid Shumann keep the jacket for several days without returning it? Otherwise, maybe he knew the jacket's owner had left and Shumann picked it up with the intention of returning it.
ReplyDelete"If the tape is accurate -- that is, it hasn't been doctored," really!?? His followers are in denial with stupid excuses of kleptomania & a lapse in judgement as plausible excuses. If the tape was in fact doctored he could sue them. Duh! It sure looks like he looks the jacket over, folds it & walks away as if nothing. He didn't intend to return it nor pull a prank. Many times these so-called kleptos take things because they're cheap & because they feel entitled to them. The more money they have the more arrogant and more likely to cheat & steal; most likely they've gotten away with it before. Has anyone heard from Mr. Walker that he did in fact get his jacket back? No. Shuman: "I'm going to 'allegedly' return this jacket to its rightful owner." Later: "Oh, I forgot to return that jacket I 'allegedly' found. Too bad. Might as well keep it." What a loser.
ReplyDeleteWord!
