Saturday Evening Post; Who Wants Pizza?; Crowd Emerging; Pour Baby Pour; Hungry City; 415 Media
LATE FALL NIGHT; Saturday PM TV Editors arriving to their desk to mull the headlines (really, steal from the Chronicle --old habits never change) and frankly, there's nothing going on ...
The North Bay Fires; Santa Cruz too; have been largely contained --follow-up stories and victim's misery mostly away from the mast head ...the latest heat wave is history; thank goodness, fog, our coastal ally is back and we miss it, inland, the 70's are now what used to be the 90's--I think it's really autumn ...time to turn the clocks back a week from now; God, I hate it when they screw with the time, why not leave it alone? Yeah, too sensible. The farmers rule.
Sports Sunday; 49ers and Raiders simultaneously bad omen for both, Buffalo for the Da Raiduhs and the Niners' latest loss destined for Philly...assignment editors have ordered pizza for a long night; in the city, Dario's used to be the plan of attack but like all good things, Dario's (used to be near the Mel Belli office on Montgomery) is closed, Tomasso's ace in the hole and their pizza is just damn awesome and the closest to NY because the crust is thin and the cheese is just BE-YOU-TI-FUL...
IN THE OLD DAYS ...we used to haunt Bix and then cruise over to the Cypress Club for cocktails; good old John Cunin had a great couple of cigars ready and a trip downstairs to the wine cellar; those were the days my friend...Hey, Ashley Johnson, bigtime Houston TV Newswoman...are the rumors true; you're headed to SF? I gladly endorse.
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: really, not a night to go out; too many Halloweenies celebrating early and that means a mess on upper Market and SOMA, go enjoy some Chinese food and have a beer on me and stay clear of the mob.
Polls indicate that most people dislike the time change situation, and some politicians have taken note. A few years from now, I doubt there will be "Daylight Savings Time/Pacific Daylight Time" in CA.
ReplyDeleteAshley Johnson name sounds familiar: didn't she do Fox in Houston or did something like chasing FOX news? If so a nice move to KTVU or even KRON
ReplyDeleteThat's an easy one, you can add my endorsement also! Hoped we can add her to those who stand out and those who are daring.
ReplyDeleteThere is one at KRON who stands out and is daring, a beautiful woman. Hint, think Cleopatra or "just in tine."
Let them be who they are, beautiful intelligent sexy women...remove the chains!
If she's in Radio and Television, she probably "does" ev everybody. Otherwise, you bums wouldn't be objectifying them. Whoring ... it's part of your industry.
