CNN Sets Its Eyes on Legal Ace Michael Cardoza

IF YOU watch enough TV News; local and cable alike, you've more than likely seen Michael Cardoza, the Walnut Creek-based defense attorney (he's been a prosecutor too) on CNN and now, KTVU, where he analyzes high-profile crime stories like, for instance, the Kate Steinle murder trial  taking place in the city.

In a segment called, "The Verdict", Cardoza takes a look at a particular story and goes back and forth with the anchor.

Cardoza is an in-your-face, rambunctious, take-no-prisoner analyst who doesn't mince words; tells it like it is and often times surprises viewers with a straightforward take; you may not like him for his non-sugar-coated delivery but you're more likely to watch and listen and admit that Cardoza is infinitely watchable and usually spot-on with his opinions. He's highly entertaining too, especially on KTVU where he's given the opportunity to lay it all out and he usually doesn't disappoint. 

Apparently, CNN's team of talent observers has taken notice and like what they see. 

415 Media has learned through the grapevine that CNN is "hotly pursuing" Cardoza and would love to have him join their legal punditry --as a full-time panelist and commentator. They plan to meet with Cardoza sometime in the next few weeks and talk business. 

Cardoza is no stranger to the cable behemoth as he was a frequent contributor to the "Larry King Show" during high-profile cases like the OJ Simpson case and Scott Peterson murder trial.
