The ND Tracey "Trixie" Watkowski might have to walk the plank. The same thing happened a few years ago. Then GM Joe Ahern was hustled out the building with a security guard. Mornings have always sucked at the might Circle 7.
Yeah, but Reggie boy gets up at 230 am to make sure he's got the news everyone wants to hear. I guess it takes a bit to go through the Twitter feed, check out his Facebook posts and see what people have posted on Instagram. Modern journalism in action. Get rid of Natasha Fatale too. Oddly enough, the real Natasha Fatale would probably do a better job reporting on moose and squirrel.
Right now, it's my favorite morning newscast. Aqui doesn't bug me like he does you. He's toned it down. Zouves is professional, but she does seem contrived. I used to think Castro was on an upward swing, but she has problems with anchor position. Zouves is much more polished. Nicco is the Senior among sophomores and acts like it. Hate to say it, but there's no BMOC at jobs. After watching these folks for a year, Alexis Smith is the one that stands out as the true pro among all of them.
Is perpetual smiling (while on the air) written into their contracts? I couldn't do it. My resting face looks a little bit tired and a little bit disgusted, even when I feel fine.
I do not know why they keep passing over Matt Keller. He is by far the best one there. He has filled in with Natasha a few times and actually makes her a TINY BIT easier to take.
Could be worse. Sacto has a "Big Chucklefest" called Good Day Sac. Cast is the old School Marm, Hip-cool guy, Screaming banshee, Laughing Hyena, wacky bow-tie guy and now they added the Bride of Chucky. OY!

ReplyDeleteEmbarassing anchors. They play off of one another and it seems that they think their infantile jibber jabber is engaging.
