Oakland Hills Grass Fire; now 20 acres --threatening homes and homes under construction.
KTVU, KNTV, KGO-TV and KPIX ...all have broken into regularly scheduled network programing to cover the fire with choppers overhead.
KRON initially broke into its informercial format and showed video, now back to showing "Maury"--the "Bay Area News Station?" Humn...

Well, you do need to know who the father is before he burns to a crisp in a brush fire, in the unlikely event that you would inherit something. So, you go, KRON.
ReplyDeleteLOL couldn't help myself.
DeleteI'm going to take a knee against the fire. That will show that fire!
ReplyDeleteAnother good one. Hope the knee gets out of the way of the fire. Naw, not smart enough... Too bad, see ya.
DeleteWhat did U expect from KRON4??? Their audience would certainly like Maury much better!! All junk programming OR, all news....repeated over and over again!!
ReplyDeleteKRON would rather cover Darya playing "Slap The Ham" than anything relevant.
ReplyDeleteKRON was remiss.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to the residents in the Oakland Hills, and to the fire (and other emergency) personnel who are addressing the situation. Sadly, 1991 will always serve as a reminder of how severe the fire risks can be in that area.
I can't believe that radio news station KCBS airs KRON4's news ads regularly including Inside Edition & Entertainment Tonight. Why would KCBS to this???
ReplyDeleteBecause KRON pays for it, that is why. KCBS is not going to turn down a paying advertiser. Silly.
DeleteAdvertising sales. Duuuh.
DeleteIt is Radnich's fault! There, I posted it for Stan so he can go on to bigger things.
ReplyDeleteKRON 4, pointless news. Reporters holding a camera and mic to get the news just to cut cost. Sharing a building, teaming with KGO 7 to save cost. And, someone mention Darya, wonder what she will perform next time to make news funny.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new KSCO ad!
ReplyDeleteI am still trying to figure out why people even watch the local broadcast news. Breaking news with live pictures like this are the only reason I can think of. But how often does that happen? And one usually finds out via another digital channel first that it is happening and then you turn on the TV. Seriously, why watch KRON or any local newscast for that matter?
ReplyDeleteWhere is "Livecopter 4" ???
ReplyDeleteBut Maury has the two lesbian nun lovers on. SOMEONE'S got to cover that!
