SERGIO QUINTANA is moving from KGO down the road to San Jose and KNTV (reunited with NBC Bay Area ND, Stephanie Androuny)
KGO ND, Tracey Watkowski announced the change to staff with this memo, obtained by 415 Media:
News Team:
I want to let you know freelance reporter Sergio Quintana is leaving ABC7 News. He has accepted a reporter position at KNTV. Sergio has been a terrific part of our reporting team since 2011, covering big stories locally and internationally. Please wish him well in the next chapter of his career.
Stephanie will let the team know about schedule changes.
Thanks,
Tracey
YAY!!! he got a permanent, Full Time Job. No More Free lancing!!! Way to go Sergio!!!!
ReplyDeleteGrew to really like him - too bad for Circle 7.
ReplyDeleteCongrats sergio
ReplyDeleteHow do you know which reporters are free-lancers and which are actual employees? is there a list somewhere?
ReplyDeleteGlad it improves his job situation but I will really miss him. Very fine reporter. Never watch NBC local.
ReplyDeleteSergio should go to Paris and make a few speeches pretending to be 'presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron. They look just alike. He should say "Marine Has My Vote!"
ReplyDeleteI like Sair-HE-oh. Good for him.
ReplyDeleteCh. 7 screwed up. Their loss is KNTV's gain
ReplyDeleteNBC Bay Area scored a talented reporter with Sergio. It seems that good ABC7 reporters and anchors find their way to San Jose. Jessica Aguirre, Janelle Wang, Mark Matthews and Terry McSweeney are extremely dedicated and thorough in their work.
