I've been dealing with a bad back; a really bad back. The pain is excruciating as those of you who have had back issues can attest, I don't --I think I know the reason why my back gave out but I'm not a hundred percent certain. Either way, it hurts.
Today I'm feeling better. Hopefully that's a good sign. I'm updating you because I know for most of you my absence has affected your life and well-being and you miss reading 415 Media. And I miss writing too.
I hope to be back Monday, maybe sooner if the planets align.
Either way, thanks for being patient and understanding. And a special thanks to those of you that wrote me asking me if I were OK.
See you soon.
Rich Lieberman @415 Media.
"Me love you long time"...everything in moderation bro! It's a marathon, not a race.
ReplyDeleteHealth is more important and the blog can wait. I'm also a member of the Bad Back Club and I know the great pain one can endure. Hope you feel better real soon.
ReplyDeleteSciatica is the biggest bitch of them all.
DeleteBoo Hoo!
ReplyDeleteRich shows so much compassion for local media personalities experiencing medical problems...
Uh, he actually has. When Ronnnnn came out with his Parkinson's, Rich showed compassion. He was ripping mattress man before that. Now keep up, silly hater.
DeleteKeeping you in thoughts and prayers...we do miss you, but you need to take care of YOU.
ReplyDeleteMiss you but prefer you take care of your back. Rest please
ReplyDelete"I'm updating you because I know for most of you my absence has affected your life and well-being..."
ReplyDeleteHow big is your ego that you think a couple extra days of you not berating local air talent or ranting about piddly radio bullshit is going to have an impact on anyone? Get over yourself, you narcissistic twat waffle.

DeleteI guess that if you had to use your name instead of "Anonymous" you would not be so arrogant and ignorant, get over your self AHole, or at least use you name!
DeleteWhat a total jerk wad, Mr.Owens.
DeletePero is my guess.
Deleteyoga helps with back, took it up and it worked wonders.
ReplyDeleteWent through two surgeries three years ago. Had immense pain everyday until
ReplyDeleteI found the right surgeon. Contact me if you need his name. Get better soon, Rich.
Rich get better soon! I have 3 collapsed vertebraes so I get how you feel.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your weak back! When did you get it? About a week back? Gufaww! duaww! ol!!! Har!
ReplyDeletethere is no such thing as "vertebraes"...do you know why?
ReplyDeleteThe human back was not designed to withstand the amount of sex you engage in. That poor back was bound to give out sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteI miss your comments, but I really want you to get better. Heal up, dude!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pussy. Suck it up Cupcake.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your back trouble. Some 'interesting' comments here, but I guess that's to be expected. Ok, my 2 cents, gleaned from experience. All of the yoga advice is good. But, sometimes it 'goes' anyway. When that happens, as soon as you can- apply cold pack to inflamed area. (one of those gel things you can get anywhere, in longer size). Secure it with a flexible belt of some kind, or Ace wrap. When the pain subsides after a day or so, start the slow stretching routine... good luck!
ReplyDeleteIs it the one where you cant lift yer self off the bed? You have to roll off? Every step is agony? Driving a car causes sweats from the pain of bumps in the road? You really do need a cane or at least a crutch?
ReplyDeleteI know that one. Too often.
My 2 cents into the kitty...
ReplyDeleteHard physical labor and sports/roughhousing in my youth, coupled with several serious auto accidents, pretty much ruined my back. In regard to pain management, increased range of motion, expedited healing, and general improvement in functionality/quality of life, years of weekly Physical Therapy were a boon.
should have know it was your back when you "be BACK soon"
ReplyDeleteKarma.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your bum back, Rich. I'm your age (mid 50's) and have had back pain for years and now I have a bum shoulder--a torn rotator cuff--that's been bothering me for 2 months and is slowly healing up.I see all the haters on here are in fine form, ripping you and your health. Must be those wonderful alt-right Trump/Fox News/KSFO fans. Deplorables indeed.
ReplyDeleteCurly: I got a weak back.
ReplyDeleteMoe: when did you get a weak back?
Curly: Oh, about a week back. Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk!!!
Get well soon.
World's biggest wuss. It's that hard typing a couple of paragraphs?
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! I just heard that Kate Larson on ABC7. Shoot, you were't kidding.
ReplyDeleteTHAT. VOICE!
This really is nothing to joke about...so I won't !!All I can say is get back to us when you can Rich, im sure you'll have quite a bit to say.
ReplyDeleteThe pain must have developed from listening to the shrieking voice of Kate Larsen.
ReplyDeleteOne problem after the next for fragile Rich Lieberman. So many problems.
ReplyDeleteRich Lieberman has a bad back. Wow, somehow the world is still spinning.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear you are feeling better...please continue to recover and return when you are able.
ReplyDeleteWondering if Steve Kerr thinks that having back surgery in retrospect was the right way to go. BTW, if you speak with non-ortho doctors for the most part, they'll tell you to stay far away from surgery.
ReplyDeleteRich, I hope this, from Allaccess.com, will make you feel better:
