'Right This Minute' --KGO-TV's Dog-Doo Afternoon Syndicated Tripe; Millennial Mush at 3 PM

Image result for Right This Minute TV show Seriously, I thought the KGO syndicated garbage show "Right This Minute" was some kind of joke, perhaps a rude commentary on what millennials might think of the news-gathering business but this visual manure takes the cake.

It's no wonder KGO has put this dog-doo in the Death Valley time slot at 3 PM Monday thru Friday.

I've watched mostly out of curiosity because, you know, us bloggers have no life and live in underground bunkers. Which would be far more interesting subject material than the carp called "Right This Minute" is and subjects the various mentally-impaired people watching any given day.

Here's the premise: take five trendy-looking yuppies in their 20's, early-to-mid 30's with convenient gender and race appearance, and offer what's going on in the world, excuse me: Whoooa! How ground-breaking. Are you stopping your work now?

Reality is this: Five really strange assholes sitting at a table, looking at their laptops for videos of the day!  It just looks tragic and idiotic and not really, you know, genuine, and not the least bit interesting at all. As a reader told me, "anyone with a internet-connected TV or device can already get the same thing by going to Youtube and clicking on "trending" or "most popular."

This is about as enticing and interesting as the late-night menu at the Emeryville Dennys.

"Hey look, a table full of Democrats."

...and they're promoting TMZ, which will spotlight the most prominent ADHD-addled Hillary Clinton kissup. But there's this saying: Every time a Hollyweirdo goes on an anti-Trump rampage, a Deplorable gets its wings.

  3. This show use to on KTVU 2 and never watch an episode of it. I tuned in once, one of the host of the show I mistakenly thought it was Lizzie Bermudez, former KGO anchor and some afternoon show at 3PM years ago.

  4. This had been on KTVU for the past couple years or more and it's okay for what it is. Better than the awful garbage talk show that preceded it last season. This is a decent lead in to the KGO 4pm news.

  5. Is this what KTVU news will become shortly? Or KGO? Or (fill in the blank)? What garbage.

    1. It's actually targeted toward old people who don't really go on the internet.

  7. I can't figure why in the hell KGO 7 News has a tease interview on the 11:00 AM News for this crap. Is it really news.

The same reason newscasts do weather five times an hour and breathlessly do interviews with TMZ and other trash sources. They don't need as many real news writers and editors and can make do with a skeletal crew. The way newsrooms are routinely staffed now is the way they used to be staffed on weekends. And on weekends they have just one or two people there now.

  12. While I've always had a disdain for celebrity news and gossip shows ie' ' Entertainment Tonight', 'The Insider', 'Access Hollywood' etc, TMZ become a guilty pleasure while I used to HATE it- especially it's paparazzi stalking gatherers, I like the 'kids' on the show and they DO actually break celebrity 'news' with pretty good accuracy. It may be trash... but it's not that bad of trash LOL compared.

  13. All I ever learned from this show is...Anything goes in Russia as long as Putin isn't offended...drive on the wrong side of the road,go 150 mph in your sports-car with a monkey on yer shoulder..like there is no law in Russia. Just Putin's law.

  14. I'd rather see ABC7 return "The Edge of Night" to that 3 p.m. time slot where it aired for so many years.
