I'VE PUT OFF POSTING THIS until I could get it corroborated ...and now I have.
Fox Network higher-ups have told KTVU emerging weatherwoman, Rosemary Orozco to "get with the business."
In essence, "show us what 'you got, girl!" Initially, Orozco was hesitant and didn't oblige.
Now, she's apparently on board because she seems to be showing much more if you know what I mean and I think you know.
This is not a knock on KTVU's up and comer, Orozco, for going with the program. It's called surviving and keeping in, uh, form the current TV News Business model of which Fox is a major practitioner.
Just take a look at this.
It is, after all, a business.

Well, she IS totally hot. Nice legs too.
ReplyDeleteI second that.
DeleteI noticed this and think it is an improvement. I hope she got her raise and a wardrobe allowance. Now, all she has to do is to use some makeup to get the shine off of her face while on camera.
ReplyDeleteAnd she came from Sacramento too.
ReplyDeleteWhat's she doing that's different?
ReplyDeleteShe used to dress like a Granny from Los Gatos.
DeleteI'm Hillary Clinton and I approve of this change.
ReplyDeleteI knew something is up. Not only is Rosemary more radiant, even conservative Keba had a short skirt on.
ReplyDeleteI would say they are all girls, who also love to be girls...but nowadays it ok for girls who love to be girls to also love girls.
And then you have...ah,that's enough.
Has she usurped Bill "Dude" Martin? He was doing weekend MO2 on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteJust parade the weather gals out like they do in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteOn Telemundo they dress 3 times trashier and act it.
DeleteSo if I understand correctly, when management "encourages" on-air talent to:
ReplyDelete1) show more skin = "going with the program," a matter of survival/job security, and therefore acceptable.
2) participate in social media = bad thing, given the frequent usage of silly pictures as exhibits in critical posts of said on-air talent, and how "untrustworthy" they are (most recent--Frank and Gasia at AT&T entry).
What's the difference between the two? Aren't they both the result of the same influences, with the same goals for both parties?
I'm no fan of social media, and don't participate in it, but that's some kind of double standard, or dinosaur thinking at the least.
Maracas...Cha-chas...Ta-tas...Bongos...TITS!
ReplyDeleteBut in all seriousness, Foxploitation is disgusting and disrespectful to women.
Screw Fox2. I do have a choice and I'll get my news from the NY Times online.
Hint: You don't tart up a woman like Rosemary for the menfolk. We were already checking her out.
DeleteThe biased New York Slimes
DeleteI'd love to see her replace the annoying Bill Martin. Please, FOX 2?
ReplyDeleteSome women like to show off the goods, some don't!
ReplyDeleteYou can be stylish and classy without looking like a cheap hooker.
Rosemary, is a very attractive woman and I always said she dresses like an old lady.
10:09 most men are disgusting and disrespectful to women, sign of the times.
Foxy news
ReplyDeleteAlert the Emams, she is showing some ankle.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Rosemary's family and friends think of her "changes" at the office? Bet her husband can't be happy. I shudder to think of what else Fox can do to their employees.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time!!!
ReplyDeleteThey didn't hire her to give weather reports. Eye candy pays more.
ReplyDeleteI think maybe the Bay Area is catching up to the larger SoCal (LA) market. Most of the weather readers are on air for their looks. You can apply that to the news readers also (M&F).
ReplyDeleteseems like culturally and intellectually were are going backwards so fast , we'll be practicing slavery in a few years
ReplyDeleteShe needs to dress weather appropriate. It is fall moving to winter. She come off looking like summer. Such a turn off. Great arms but not when it cooler, looks stupid.
