KRON Traffic Ice Queen Winston Calls In 'Sick' Again
KRON's Traffic Ice Queen, Robin Winston, who occasionally likes to pen sweet-nothings to this media site extolling her virtues, anonymously, called in "sick" for the second time this week. The first sick was ordered by KRON management as part of a suspension over Winston's five-round, lower middle-weight clash with Anny Hong, the morning weather-weight champion of the world.
While chances are, time will heal all wounds, this major tension between Winston, Hong, and the SF Media General wonder kings, has all the appearance of a drawn-out, all-out, lengthy tussle. If KRON had a quarter ship of leadership, this who conundrum would have been settled long ago, but they don't.
So, the soap opera carries on.

OMG! Why are you showing Robin doing the weather?! Ms. Hong will NOT be pleased.
ReplyDeleteThis is what started the fight, Robin was squeezing in on her turf!!! Then when Anny showed the live shot from the San Mateo Bridge, she mentioned the traffic had let up. Then Robin went ballistic.
DeleteThanks for the info...Darya
DeleteWe don't want to see her anyway. Her replacement is much, much, much better. Stay home "sick."
ReplyDeleteSpeak for yourself
DeleteIf I wanted to commit suicide, I'd climb up to the top of her ego and jump down to her IQ.
DeleteAbby should do the weather in her Ninja outfit; the station would get better ratings. KI-YA!!!
ReplyDeleteHow is Rebecca allowed to dress professionally, and the others like they're going clubbing??
ReplyDeleteWow, I "wonder" who 3:21 is...
Oh no she didn't! *snaps fingers in circular motion*
ReplyDeleteI will skip KRON and watch the national babes, like Ginger Zee, Amy Rorbach, Lara Spencer and Norah O'Donnell.
ReplyDeleteWhy shouldn't she take some time off? She's probably sending her reel, and networking like any smart business person would do.
ReplyDeletePhil Zimbardo should do another prison experiment... "KRONVICTS"
The warrior gene, in action.
ReplyDeleteIt's really sad that you all find enjoyment with bringing down a young professional African-American WOMAN. Please share your accomplishments, so we can praise your talents.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I agree with you in general, I'm at a loss as to what her being an African America or a woman have to do with it. If you give that extra emphasis, it implies African Americans and women are in your eyes inferior and should be given special kudos. Otherwise, why not just judge them like everyone else? People are people, right? EQUALITY, right?
DeleteGood retort, MK, Jr.
DeleteProfessional??? That's open to interpretation - I'm going with 'ice queen' - And, just a guess, she's stuck on herself.
I'm thinking of starting a gofundme account to pick up the tab for her much needed nose job. Are you reading this, Robin?
Is dikk head blind? Nothing wrong with Robin's nose.
DeleteIn looking at her, she looks AfricAsian. Interesting combo.
Let Mark Danon do all the news. It would be a decent, drama-free broadcast at least.
Robin is too dark to look mixed. I like my black women light skinned like caramel butter. And not so made up. Go easier on the makeup ms Winston. You look like plastic.
Delete"Go easier on the makeup ms Winston."
DeleteI agree. All that makeup is an exercise in excess.
Bring back George Rask. Man known his stuff when it came to traffic. I even called him a few times to report accidents that just happened so he can get it on the air first. After he was let go from KRON, I stopped watching KRON. See Ya losers.
ReplyDeleteGeorge Rask is alive and happy as hell to be at KPIX.
ReplyDeleteBoy, Rich, you sure like to build 'em up and then tear 'em down. Very Hearst of you. Rosebud!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Rich. You used to speak adoringly of Ms. Winston...why the change of heart?
DeleteJudging form Amy's bulge she will be off for the next six months anyway with the new SF baby bonding ordinance by then KRON will have been sold off to someone else and the point will be mute. I like both Rebecca and Robin they are both my type (HOT)...
ReplyDeleteTurning to KTVU, Gasia was reporting on how people feel uncomfortable touching robots (or some crap like that), then Dave Clark says "Slow down Gasia"... then he finishes the story she started. Dave = 1, Gasia = 0
ReplyDeleteI prefer Anny. And to ms. Winston, I say good luck in Hollywood. You'll need it.
ReplyDeleteNeither one of them has been around long enough to achieve "Diva" status. Been a big fan of George Rask and enjoyed his no frills traffic reports. Too bad talent takes a back seat to looks.
ReplyDeleteThe white, nerdy men seem to prefer Asian women.
