  2. Often called a 'gender bender'.

    How low can we go?

  4. I recall being very impressed at one of Bowies first albums.
Finally, i found it at Tower Records. Then I saw the cover.
The cover showed David lounging in a very formal, very expensive, very feminine ball gown.
OMG! I was simply too embarrassed to be seen buying that LP.
I thought i was cooler than to be so uptight about a stage costume, but i wasn't, i still won't buy it. Diamond Dogs was delightfully depraved enough for me, as was Aladdin Sane. Listen to the title cut Aladdin. Hear Mike Ronsons jazzy piano dialog, exquisite and entertaining.

    1. You seem to have blended Mick Ronson and Mike Garson together. The latter being the pianist on that track.

If you are referring to the Hunky Dory album, Bowie stated it was a mans dress.

    2. FUN FACT for 10:09 AM. There is no such thing as a "Man's Dress" in American or English culture. Sorry!
I think 9:30PM is talking about one of the original covers for the lp 'Man Who Fell To Earth."

  5. Sorry, but never cared for his music, but certainly respect those who did.

Tragic anytime anyone dies of cancer. RIP Mr. Bowie.

  6. Lots of people don't know of his success in finance. The same mind that came up with having a posthumous album like he just put out (Blackstar) with video scenes that start out with him on his death bead also dreamed up Bowie Bonds in the credit industry.
