  1. I don't know how these guys continue to stay on the air. Are there really people out there that think this is good sports radio? I don't think so dude.

  2. This morning was particularly tough to listen to. Now along with Kate Scott chiming in, they've let her do commercials. The combo of the writing and her delivery is terrible and I don't think I'd buy anything she advertised simply out of spite.

    1. Kate Scott recently graduated from the Christine Craft School of I'm A Bitch & I'm Right & All Of You Are Wrong.

    2. Is her ex husband black?

    3. I'm with 9:20, I will make a point to not buy any product or use any service that advertises with Kate Scott reading the material or endorsing the product or service.

And yes 10:20, she does have a very thin skin a la Craft.

  3. This is why I have Sirius/XM. I used to leave the radio on KNBR when I left the house to keep the dogs company, but I won't subject them to 40 minutes of Kars 4 Kids and SleepTrain commercials every hour, only to be interrupted by whatever two bozos are yapping and the insufferable Kate Scott.

  4. The alternative, Flight 95.7, is even worse. How those guys still have a job, after almost a year of that nonsense, I'll never know.

    1. this past sunday around 8:30 AM or so i heard the 2 95.7 shmucks criticizing recent remarks made by Joe Montana regarding Kap as the 9ers QB. one of them actually said "Joe Montana doesn't know what he's talking about!"

  5. You forgot about the incessant UCLA crap, as the Bruins (what the hell's a Bruin? Some kind of fake bear?) beat Cal last night.

  7. Brian Murphy has been a little heavy on your rotation, Rich. Isn't it time to work in another Radnich handicapped parking comment, or perhaps a Ronn Sleeptrain reference?

  8. 7:22 I think it depends what you want out of your morning show. As I prepare for the work day, I want lighter, relatively upbeat sports radio that talks mostly about the teams I like, and for that, I think Murph & Mac are good (and FAR better than 95.7's morning show). If you want harder-hitting and more nationally-based talk, there are definitely other options.

  9. Look at these comments. How much clearer can you be than this? Morning drive radio sucks huge. KNBR will never take a stand against the 49ers because they carry the games and while Jedly Smedley can't control his team, he can control the talking ass kissers on the Sports Bleeder. Meanwhile, KGO's master control is busy masterb+++++, so they can never stay on the air. KCBS is too busy with happy talk and listening to Kim The Wonderdog and Susan Pacifica talking about their commutes and the fog. KSFO hasn't been relevant since they told Gene Nelson to take a hike. As for FM, it's all noise. So glad to have satellite radio.

  10. Rich, is it true Armstrong and Getty on Talk 910 are the number one morning show in the Bay Area?

  11. How could I forget to mention all of the UCLA nonsense every day? Dude - this isn't LA. We don't care about your g-damn school. Ok, dude?

Actually, that goes for every sports bozo - we don't care if you went to Indiana or Notre Dame, or Podunk State - and we don't want to hear about who your school beat last week or who they hired as head coach. We just don't care.

  12. From the mouths of babes and fools...
This morning, with Murph as a solo, he started doing his Al Davis imitation, which, I have to say that he does well. The riff was on the Raiders upcoming game with San Diego and so Murph/Davis went on about "...can't trust Spanos, he's a Greek". he then disingenuously tries to walk it back with a disclaimer of sorts about not wanting to hear from the "Greek anti-defamtion league" and then he says...
"I'm a big fan of Greek culture(!)"
...not that there's anything wrong with that

  13. The Niners apparently took away popular sports blogger, Bay Area Sports Guy's press pass because he's apparently too critical of the team. Tom Tolbert and Ratto mentioned on their show that this was a weak move on the Niners part.

  14. Rich don't get me started with KNBR's morning show.
I must keep my anger under control this Friday.

  15. Bay Area morning sports shows...hell, ALL local sports shows....SUCK.

I've become a huge fan of ESPN's Mike & Mike followed by Dan LeBatard. (I especially LOVE the "Looks Like" game on LeBatard!)

  16. Murphy was horrible this morning when he was being obnoxious to MK about the UCLA win over Cal, Acting like a teenage boy , he was unlistenable and changed stations

  17. Thank God the Giants aren't still playing. The Sports Bleeper would be fawning all over themselves with nothing but asskissing platitudes. There's a definite conflict of interest here because KNBR is one of the owners of the team. That's bad. We'll never hear the truth about the Giants from them.

This is like Facebook on the air. Nothing bad. All likes. Any negativity gets unfollowed. You can't tell it like it is. Puke!
