KTVU's Haener Recovering From Emergency Surgery

\ Julie Haener has been hospitalized almost a week and underwent emergency surgery for an issue involving blockage of her small intestine.

The KTVU veteran anchor wrote on her Facebook page that she's feeling much better and expects to make a full recovery.

No time frame as to when she'll be back on the air.

We at 415 Media wish her all the best.

  3. Was terribly painful and life threatening. Caused by scar tissue in the appendix area where the small intestine joins the large intestine.

    1. Hi, glad you're getting better. I had something similar (though now a bit different now that you describe it) a number of years after my weight loss surgery. I'm OK now, too, but they had me in there immediately for surgery, so I know these things can be quite serious.

      Good luck to you!
