  1. This is great! I know a kid who just graduated from high school who is an oil changer at an Arco station near the University Ave ramp of I-80. He’s been wanting to break into radio. I’ll have to tell him there’s a job opening that might meet his qualifications, though he may have to take a cut in pay.

  2. No they aren't. Not having someone in a job at Cumulus means not paying someone. A few years ago there were 7-8 engineers across 6 stations. I think today there are like 3? Do more! Be paid less! Be happy you have a job!

The company is aptly named. A cloud that hovers.

"They'll take anyone?!? Hell, I stand a chance, then!! Martha, get off your ass & put dinner in a bag!! I have a job!!" As Todd Bridges once opined, "Will they have crack?"

    2. Hey Johnny One-Note, your joke wasn't funny the first time, and it's still not funny 83 times later. Go back to your day job at the Sizzler. Take Dana and Casper with you.

  4. How does this end? Is the end result to be an infomercial station no one listens to making just enough to pay the rent and keep the lights on? Was this the original Cumulus game plan? So many questions...

Stay tuned to KTVU for a similar brewing clusterfark. By the way, didn't think anyone could do traffic worse than Tara Moriarity but Alex Savidge surpasses her in delivering perfectly useless traffic info.

    2. If she thinks anyone is hiring her to be a full time host then she's wrong about one thing.

  7. Would Family Radio be interested, or would they be afraid that the world would end before it closes?
