Michael Savage Causes a Stir (Again) in North Beach; Rare Interview With American Sniper, Chris Kyle, (Audio)

This is beginning to be a regular weekly occurrence in North Beach.

SF-based syndicated talker, Michael Savage, was surrounded by hundreds of supporters as he departed the North Beach Restaurant the other night. As a few SFPD police cars sailed through the street to see the commotion , Savage managed to make it past the sea of humanity to his car parked on the other side of Columbus Ave.

Fat Tony and Joey Redbone-Loggia were among the throng who witnessed the patrons coming out of North Beach to high-five the clearly, but happily-flustered Savage and his pet poodle, Teddy. Word spreads fast in this town.

Seems Savage was out and about celebrating his TSL ranking as the #1-rated streaming talk show. He also played a riveting interview with American sniper, Chris Kyle on his show Monday.

  4. When I used to listen to Savage, I found his views and opinions interesting but his narcissism outweighed his positives so I find something else to listen to until Levin comes on.

    1. His life experiences are stories to learn from. Lessons too live by.
Please try to overlook the personal pronouns (and focus on the the plot)...
He's right about so many things.

  10. Savage knows history, says it like it is - just gets a little hard to take the ego and the self centered bragging. Let it go, Doctor, you diminish yourself that way.

    1. unfortunately, I must concur with everything. mike likes to be divisive in the industry (this coming from a guy who loves him generally). I don't always understand the attacks other than to chalk up to professional jealousy. Savage's background and perspective is unique.

    2. you know something? Liberal, moderate AND Conservative blog comment sites are inhibiting freedom of expression more and more lately with comments that are contrary to their philosophies. I have begun to see this more and more within the past year and it doesn't matter whether you use profanities or don't use profanities, whether you use defamations or don't. Very sad, very tragic and UnAmerican.

    3. Michael does not brag on himself the way you assume. He's educated and well versed in more areas of life then other tv or radio personalities. He may remind listeners of his credentials but I don't take that as bragging. Can't he be proud of his degrees etc.? Don't be jealous of him,...instead of criticizing him enjoy and take in all the knowledge he is sharing with us. I want to be more informed and intelligent in my senior years. I love hearing about all his degrees, makes me wish I had gone to college as a teenager. Keep it up Michael....you are the best of the best!

  11. No one cares. Check the ratings. Limbaugh is on so many more stations he doesn't need to stream

  12. I'm in sync with Michael Savage; I can't remember myself disagreeing with most of what he says. If I did disagree, it was not significant for me to remember. If many more people in USA listened to Michael Savage, they would storm the White House; Obama would be trembling. Savage should receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom because he definitely supports the values of America and the Consitution of the United States. America is safe in his hands. Praise God!

  13. Michael Savage is #1 for a reason. He speaks for many of the rest of us who cannot say what we'd like to.

  17. Rich Dickerman must be vying for another appearance on Savages show considering he's not allowing critical comments of Whiner to appear. Thank God you couldn't make it in Watsonville radio you fat putz. That's how low you are on the totem pole.

  18. I get most of all my news now from Michael Savage. I stopped listening to Fox News with the same old, same old discussions and guests. Michael is entertaining, sometimes a little inpatient but over the past several years I've gotten to understand his personality. He is SO on target with his views of this country and the world. I've learned so much from listening to him and I've learned about things that are never mentioned on any other news media. He might not admit to it, but I believe he's a prophetic teacher of coming events. He might not connect it to the Bible, but that's okay....I do. He's one of the few people on the media that is telling the TRUTH. I've been telling my family and friends to listen to him. I've read his books, Stop The Coming Civil War, and Train Tracks. Love the stories about Dead Man's Pants, and his mother in the meat market with the butcher slipping her cheap cuts of meat. Michael you are #1 in my book. Dorothea

  19. Been listening since early 2000,s...Enjoy the latest revamp and am so irritated that WBAP 820 out of Dallas only carries the 1st 2 hrs. The clown that comes on for a 1 hr. stint before having to ck out until after Mark Levin, is just not radio material. Need Savage's 3rd hr. ALSO, could you please prepare a piece that covers all of the material you read yesterday on LORETTA LYNCH. I sent someone to your site today, Friday 27, 2015 for clarity on why she should NOT be confirmed and there was no story....Naturally the "poster" called you a "HYSTERICAL Man". Want to send the guts of her to him from your readings. There are several stories but your coverage was the best.

  20. I discovered Dr. Savage years ago when I was scrolling through radio channels, searching for entertainment while I cooked dinner. Our Memphis station dropped his program, and I was THRILLED to find Internet streaming. I don't know the words to express how much Dr. Savage means to me. He is like the best friend that I will never meet.

  21. Never throw the baby out with the bath water - especially where Michael Savage is concerned. Few men that have walked the earth have accomplished what he has. He's a breath of truthfully fresh air!
Is he perfect? Of course not.
The only perfect guy was hung on a cross.

  22. God Bless Savage Nation . Have been listening to Dr Savage here on the east coast of Canada since the late 90's When I stream talk radio , it is Dr Mike .

  23. An old savagette here, listener since he started a weekend show on KGO San Francisco. Over time he got better, a tiny bit more tolerant with callers he deems less intelligent, or boring. However, I do get annoyed when he cuts off interesting callers who's viewpoint I would like to hear and I wish he would improve his patience. His most recent move regarding forgiveness for Obama rings false and reminds me of Glenn Beck's schtick. Ever since Beck started with forgiveness and religion I don't listen any more. If I want preachy preachy I can go to church. So cut it out Michael, you are better than having to play that phony game of forgiveness. Should you be serious about it, which I doubt, then start showing more appreciation to your callers, even though they might be a bit slow and not 100% clear about the point they want to make.
