Len Tillem, 'Duh Loyah' Is Being Courted By Syndicators

 TILLEM GETS COURTED BY SYNDICATORS...

Let Tillem, aka: "Duh Loyah" has been contacted and courted by two different broadcast syndicators, according to a local source with knowledge of the situation.

The names of the syndicators were not available nor how serious or what the nature of the discussions only that Tillem is said to be mulling offers.

Tillem recently informed me that he loaded the broadcast equipment out of his remote Sonoma studio and "was done with radio."

But he also said "I never say never" so at this point if there's interest then there's light if your a loyah liker.

Tillem had been doing independent podcasts and after an initial successful run, began to phase them out. He of course has had stints at KGO and Clear Channel of late. At KGO his ratings were pretty much off the chart until Cumulus came in and aborted the talk format.

I'll keep you updated as to the seriousness, (or not), of this latest development just as soon as I get more information.

    1. Things change, douchebag. Should Rich have known through osmosis that there would be a new development?

The Ravens shouldn't have drafted Ray Rice either, right?

  3. Unfortunately, national syndication would be severely hampered by the wide variety of laws and regulations from state-to-state. Tellum's appeal is that he knows California law and can explain it in a down to earth way. Can't apply this knowledge to Texas or New York or, even worse, to Louisiana, whose laws are based on the Napoleonic Code.

  4. Bill Handel is an lawyer in Los Angeles that has a local program on KFI and he separately has a nationally syndicated radio program. Len could do the same thing. They each have a somewhat different style.

  6. Anything for some variety. Too many hosts who do all the talking are all over the radio now.

  8. If he comes back he needs to commit to fresh shows regularly. This bum went into reruns and best ofs much too often at KGO and then 910am. No more half ass commitment Lenny!

  9. He's bad and boring on the radio! Why is he on the radio in the first place, and who would waste the time listening to him? I listened one time to his show was it was so boring, I turned it off after just a few minutes.

  10. As KGO continues to have more commercials than actual talk I have almost given up on radio. Len has always been my favorite & I pray he comes back to radio.

  11. I love Len. Hated Bill Handel who's show was vaudeville shtick that was supposedly about the law.

  12. It makes sense he would only be on California radio stations. I thought most of his advise was dead spot on. He helped me out on some probate advise and wouldn't take a dime.

Good for him I hope he gets a huge deal.
