Rich - thanks for posting, there are some great drummer battles on Youtube. Ed Shannesy, Sammy Davis Jr., Buddy Rich, etc. Sometime check out "The Loading Zone", great songs from the 60's. "Can I dedicate"is a gem. These guys were east bay local.
That was crazy good. I stopped watching the Tonight show when Carson left. I think that was Tommy Newsome on the clarinet solo.
So Nice.... would love to be having a scotch and soda and watching that live now....
