Changes at Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area
Dave Feldman, a Bay Area native--(he worked at KCBS)--has joined Comcast SportsNet Bay Area. He will be an anchor and reporter for the 49ers programming, in addition to working on various other pre-and post-game shows.
Damon Andrews, who has been at the local sports cabler since its inception in 2009, has left and is headed down south to LA to be with family. Andrews, according to an insider, has been dealing with several personal issues, (non health-related), and this may have accelerated his departure from Comcast.
Feldman has spent the past 12 years at Fox station, WTTG.
"He has deep local roots and has established himself as one of the most accomplished and versatile sportscasters in the business today,” Comcast SportsNet Bay Area VP-GM Ted Griggs said in a statement.
