ReplyDeleteWhereas KGONE was bearable on weekends, Paul Hosley and Jared Hart are doing everything possible so no one tunes in on weekends anymore. Some loser named Matt is on at midnight, I could only stomach 3 minutes. Karel announced a taped interview and that's when I bailed. The NY chick was on instead of Thurston this afternoon. I have no idea anymore who is on when. Finney at 1pm? Why do I bother anymore? Good night. The alien show is on, at least John B. Wells has a deep soothing voice to calm me down...

ReplyDeleteHey Rich - Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, which, was, what -- yesterday? It 's 6:08 a.m. on Sunday (I think) and I still can't sleep, and am almost passed out, so, I'll make this brief:
ReplyDeleteWHO THE F*&K IS MATT RAYDIO? The dude who did midnight to 3 ay emm? HE SUCKS MAJOR ground beef pink slime! That's right! An hour on freacking PINK SLIME in his first hour? No identification of who he us, except he jerks off to Twitter.
Then, an hour about Santorum saying he can't stop PORN on the "internets" if he becomes President. Even the Puerto Ricans are pissed about that bullshit. Even Larry Flynt about fell out of his wheelchair over that crap.
Then, Karel. Karel, Karel, Karel. Worst than a replay of Red Eye Radio (again.) Cut his hair real short, colored it blonder than blond (so much show that his "studio" light made his face so bright, you couldn't see what the blob was all about (and still, no dates ...) Damn! What a scream and "get 'em off the air" that blowhard's "show" was!
And then, in for the Irish (i'm guessing) Patty O'Thurston -- that bitch from New York City -- the unfunny, unconnected and unhip Maureen who-gives-a-fart something or other.
Worst night in KGOne Radio history.
Even Karel had screams, shouts and insults about Bill "he knows nothing" Wattenburd. Karel says "algae" will rid our gasoline woes in as little as three years. Exxon/Mobil must love to hear that. "Hey, Harry ... let's go suck up some algae for bio-gas today!"

Now,up to Friday, Cain was the stations favorite Giant pitcher...He was always called the ace because of his durability,calmness...And now he's a freakin moron?? Thats a warning from Larry Baer to fans..dont miss him too much.

DeleteSo as much as I am glad that Michael Finney is on Saturdays 1-4 p.m., I think it's odd that they are having him do newstalk the first hour (that's what has happened past 2 weeks). His expertise is in consumer affairs and that is what I love. The Sunday a.m. travel show is on at a better time and is worth listening to, 8-10 a.m. The rest of this week-end so far as been awful, at least when I turn it on.
ReplyDeleteKSCO actual had a couple guys on in the late a.m. Sunday that were interesting, entertaining and local. Speaking of local, KSCO morning news, over at 9:00 can be a hoot. Check it out sporadically if you get the signal. That all being said, I just hate trying to find something decent to listen to, going from station to station skirting right wing loudmouths, lousy signals, and dull, regardless of their politics, hosts.
I would appreciate a place on the internet where ex-KGO listeners could quickly post when something interesting is on. I guess F.B.'s Former KGO listeners could work, but the posts have slowed way down recently.
