Peyton will stay in the AFC. "The Manning Brand" is better served when Peyton faces Eli in the Super Bowl. I'm sure Archie is whispering in Peyton's ear. Nice try though.
Is the thinking that Alex Smith peaked last years. The implication in the story is that Smith and Tebow are being kicked to the curb in favor of an injured 38-yr-old. Leinard's already been cut. Not exactly a confidence builder for young QB's.
It only costs lunch and it makes it looks like they are doing all to improve the team. He signs with the Titans and Jim takes Alex to lunch at the Internatonal House of Pancakes after, and tells him the PR department made him do it and Alex can order whatever he wants and all is good!
Peyton is actually 35...and Tebow won't be "kicked" to the curb...he will (if manning signs with Denver) learn by being Peyton's understudy.
Tebow needs work, not in toughness or leadership, but in playing the game as an NFL QB...reading defenses, being able to make all the throws, and the right decisions regarding them.
If Peyton goes to Denver...it would be a "win win" for him and Tebow.
