OMG What Happened?
ReplyDeleteCaught Radnich absolutely RAVING like a lunatic on his show today, something about "the way" he treated somebody on KRON last night???
Larry tried to sooth/aka say something about "never say/do that to Pam Moore" and Raddy barked "OH tell Pam to JUST read the telaprompter"....
Does Radnich have all his wires touching?
Good show, Rich!
ReplyDeleteI agree--I am loooooooooooving the Republican debates! As Jon Stewart says, he couldn't have made this stuff up if he tried, and his job is so easy this year! I love that he finds humor that I didn't even think of the first time around!
My sister-in-law just spent a week here with me in Evil California. She is from Alabama. It's a whole nother world down there--there are a bunch of people who believe the garbage that is being spit out by the right. Fortunately for us, not enough people--at least where Obama is concerned!
Let's hope there will be some good sense in Congressional voting this year.
You are a guest host? Jesus they must be desperate. Gas prices...that'll hold 'em. Maybe you could beg for your pizza pitch-man job back..
ReplyDeleteKSCO needs to work on their website ONLINE listening program. I have a very fast connection at work and cannot listen through their site.
ReplyDeleteSo I switched to my I-phonoe TUNEIN app and it is having trouble logging in to KSCO as well.
Sigh.
It is working well via http://bit.ly/KSCO1080
DeleteDidn't get to hear it all, but what I heard was good. You sounded great, Rich, but boy, what a funky way to listen online.
ReplyDeleteGREAT SHOW!!!!!!! Hope to her you on air more often.
ReplyDeleteIt was great to hear you, and Carla's conversation is a boost to KQED on Friday evenings as well...hey, this is my neigborhood! Rich, next time you do this gig go a few blocks down Portola Drive to Aloha Island Grille for a nice bite to eat. Hell, I'll even treat...
ReplyDeleteNice job, Rich -
ReplyDeleteYou have "diversity" of thought, can stay on topic (unlike others) and you have a good wit and you "involve" the caller by "listening" -- only cutting them off when they start to drag.
Good going and I want to hear more. Don't get hung up only on politcs -- there's lots of "News" happening. Keep talking "with" not "at" and you'll go far. Nicely done.
Ronn was steadily more and more rude to callers--very irritating.
DeleteFor a contrast, check out Neal Conan on "Talk of the Nation" (NPR/88.5). He is SO sweet--gives people time to figure out they are finally on the air (sooooooo irritating when the Ronn's of the world expect folks to snap to it RIGHT AWAY, when they may have been on hold for thirty minutes prior!) and gives them time to make their point. I LOVE the way he always says, "Bye bye!"
Rich, great show yesterday, what I heard of it--you are very good! And of course, Carla M. is always chock full of insights.
Now, if I could just listen to radio in my CAR!!!!!
How much did KSCO pay you?
