KNBR 1050 Promotes Racist Jokes Against Jeremy Lin

The Jeremy Lin phenomenon has reached epic proportions; unfortunately, the story of the great, unlikely young kid has entered a new arena that is chock full of the race card, (it was inevitable being that Lin is an Asian American and now, his mega-celebrity is being tainted by some self-serving racist jerks that want some attention.) Hello ESPN, but wait...

Nick and Artie, a bunch of lowlifes that found a home on KNBR 1050, (syndicated nationally by DirectTV), staged a "contest" asking listeners/morons, really, on the February 15 show to call in and offer the most racist joke about Lin and Asian-Americans they could think of. Ha Ha. How funny. And so damn original too.

"Artie" is a sloppy leftover from the Howard Stern show who found a new home receptive to his unfunny vulgarity and nonsensical, racist idiocy. KNBR is a Cumulus property. They and DirecTV might be getting a call from a few lawyers soon.

Good.

Another reason NOT to listen to Knibbers' little sister of the poor.

  1. Nick and Artie has to be among the worst radio I've ever heard. Whoever made the decision to put them on needs to have their ass kicked. Sub-human radio

  2. Nick and Artie? I have no idea whose idea it was to allow this crap on 1050. All I can do as one person is refuse to listen to 1050 and encourage others to do the same.

  5. Artie is the Reverse Liberal..on air he's all right wing, pandering to the Patrick Connor crowd. He blew up on HBO sports talk show a couple of years ago going into some routine -Joe Buck-you-are-a- fag- jokes.
Then, you read that off air..he for gay rights and helping AIDS orgs,he's pro Obama and womans rights, the whole liberal agenda. You realize he's just another self hating liberal operating as the person he really hates most..the pagliachi clown who's very sad.

  6. these guys (Nick and Artie) are just two of the best comics out there right now. No person, group, team, area of the country is off-limits to them. They are about making us laugh and if they offend at times so be it.

  7. Last week Rich I posted on Bay Area Sports Guy Blog under his Jason Whitlock topic, that I had heard on 1050 radio,a sports host for ESPN say Lin "Had a chink in his armor". So after reading they again had used that same racist phrase I wrote to ESPN about the week earlier incident. Today,ESPN released a statement on their website that the headline writer had been fired AND "ESPN has since learned (from me) of a similar use of the phrase on ESPN radio last week".."That host has been suspended 30 days".
If only KNBR had the morals of ESPN.

  8. @ Anonymous 11:15 a.m.- Reverse Liberal? Where the hell did you come up with that term? And what is wrong with Gay rights, helping AIDS organizations, and supporting Woman's rights in the first place? Or supporting President Obama? You come off sounding like you are against all of the above. So, would do you want. . . would you rather Artie be like you- a conservative bigot who hates gays and thinks women need to be in the kitchen?

Get a life, will you? You creep.

  10. Mike and Ike, Smurf and Mook have together have managed chased me off the Nibber.
The nerdiest radio I have ever listened too. Unfunny. The only one I would have a beer with is The "Mook"
